Re: Does Campbell end the 'Cover 2' excuse?
lol, and cannons and flags arent gonna distract a qb, if anything it would be noise .
.
I'm saying that the cannons and flags get the crowd pumped - silly! Of course it's the noise that will distract him! Tampa fans know what they are doing! ASK THE EAGLES. |
Re: Does Campbell end the 'Cover 2' excuse?
of course its like that for a playoff game. if it wasnt id shit on my own fans!
You're right, bad example ..... |
Re: Does Campbell end the 'Cover 2' excuse?
:biggthump all good.
but seriously, its not like youre going to sit on the sidelines and hear bucs fans taling about what theyd do to your momma and santa with a battery like you would at the linc. |
Re: Does Campbell end the 'Cover 2' excuse?
If anything, Campbell has more pressure to perform well, in front of a home field Hess. Putting him on the road, in a situation when the season is over, pretty much means no pressure at all.
No one is asking him to win out, bc it is impossible, so there is no pressure at all. Plus do you have any idea how loud, college football stadiums get? They can hold more than FedEX, and the enviroment is as bad. Only thing Campbell needs to worry about is game speed.
Ok, hess, but you are missing all of my other points. This is the best time to bring Campbell in, PERIOD. |
Re: Does Campbell end the 'Cover 2' excuse?
as was mentioned earlier. if he stinks it up, he wont have to worry about home fans booing him. he can get a game in before he comes back to fedex and worry about performing for the home team guys.

Dude, PWNED is obviously not a kid. |
Re: Does Campbell end the 'Cover 2' excuse?
Because REALITY is that now that MB is benched we have NO shot at the playoffs. This is all going to be about getting JC ready for next year, and I understand that. But it still blows for this year.
This is the one move we could make that gives us just a little bit of hope to go 7 and 0. Very unlikely, but now at least in the rest of our games the cover 2 won't mean an automatic loss. The safties on the other team can't smoke weed at halftime anymore and now we get to see if Saunders system can work around here. |
Re: Does Campbell end the 'Cover 2' excuse?
saunders is probably ACTUALLY going to come up with a gameplan this time.

15 years old is a kid! |
Re: Does Campbell end the 'Cover 2' excuse?
you better recognize...
serously though. if we have a shot in hell, it begins with campbell. next its rocky. |
Re: Does Campbell end the 'Cover 2' excuse?
Another thing is that Campbell is very tall and he can easily see over the line. Once Brunell lost the weapon of mobility his inability to see over the middle of the line and quickly read the middle of the field made his job basically impossible.

Re: Does Campbell end the 'Cover 2' excuse?
The only thing we've given up on is MB throwing double digit tds this year. We need a spark if we are going to harbor playoff hopes, and continuing to rally around Brunell while he continues to alternate between bounces and lobs wasn't getting us anywhere.
I will always appreciate MB for the two bombs against Dallas last year. Now I am fully behind Jason Campbell. |
