Re: Would cutting Brunnel boost JC's confidence?
I think that we get MB to restructure his contract and keep as our #2. We drop Collins and find a good QB which can learn the system over the year and then in 2008 we have a replacement for MB. I think if MB is asked to play a game or 2 he will be fresh and wouldbe the best person for the job because he knows the players and the system.
HAHA! Why not Collins? He knows the system and is about as fresh as you can get. J/K |
I thought I made that up!
You may have given it it's proper name but I have hearing about this Saunders offense all season and I have not seen anything different than anyone elses offense |
Re: Would cutting Brunnel boost JC's confidence?
Truthfully, I'd take Campbell over Manning all day long.
I don't Campbell has thrown a pick in like three weeks.
Campbell and Eli are both being hindered by a low completion % right now. In fact, this year they have been nearly the same player. (staistically, projected over the same # of starts) |

Campbell doesn't have that goofy look on his face though. |

and this is basically campbells rookie season |

Exactly. Not only is he essentially a first year quarterback, but he went from third string (inactive) to starting. Which is a difficult task to do because as the third string you hardly, if ever, work with the starting unit. So his progress really has been on the fly. |
