Re: Duckett available?
Sellers always seems to get like 6-7 yards a pop when he runs it.
If anything we screwed Sellers. He could of been our beast on short yardage
Well, doesn't Sellers have to play the fullback on short yardage? I guess we could slide Yoder or Cooley back there, but I'd feel much more comfortable with Sellers leading the way for Portis/Betts in short yardage than with Yoder leading the way for Sellers.
I feel that a majority of Duckett's 2006 carries would have gone to Rock. I'm also waiting with great anticipation for the day when Cooley lines up at fullback, gets the handoff, and proceeds to spin 8 times on his way to the endzone, but I digress. |

Re: Duckett available?
man.. F that... I'd like to bring him back JUST so I could have him again on Madden! I crush people with Duckett... get em all inside an toss it to him and crush a DB... 50+yd TDs all day long...
That fool is a madden beast! I don't care if he plays, I'd love to have him on the game! |
Wow Lux, next you'll be telling us to bring Darrell Green back to play CB
and what would be wrong with that? Im sure DG could probably out play alot of corners out there and cover alot of the WRs |

Running out of the singleback wouldn't work if they sold out vs the run. We'd need a few solid PA pass options off a Sellers dive play. |

Uh, remember I did suggest that the first year Gibbs came back... And also people called me crazy when I said we should get Gibbs to come back and coach the Redskins for a second tenure... |
Re: Duckett available?
Oh god, soon as CB problems are mentioned people think Green can solve them lol. Hey why don't we get Riggo in the game again? I am sure he could have taking CPs spot when he went down.

DUCKETT TO DETROIT Adam Schefter of NFL Network reports that running back T.J. Duckett has agreed to terms with the Detroit Lions. Duckett will sign a one-year, $1.5 million contract with the Lions. The maneuver gives the Lions three starting-caliber tailbacks -- Duckett, Tatum Bell, and Kevin Jones. We've previously heard that Bell, who was acquired recently from the Broncos as part of the Dre' Bly trade, is a candidate to be traded again. Duckett did the deal with Detroit after visiting the Seahawks. ProFootballTalk.com -- The Best Pro Football Scoop on the Internet |
Re: Duckett available?
Wow the Lions have some trade power now, with 3 pretty good backs.

Re: Duckett available?
