Re: what is the most rememberable single game redskin performance of all time?
.....I like this thread. It's upbeat and takes some focus off all this Briggs/trading up stuff we have been beating to death lately.
100% agree. We have no control over what is going to happen with Briggs / draft / trade-up vs. trade-down and no one is going to give up their season tickets or stop being a Skins fan no matter what they do. I'm new to posting but check everyday for info. This is a great site and the Mods/Admin guys do a great job. Can we all have a group hug...:grouphug: Go Skins! |
I have to go with Doug Williams in the SB. It was just such an ass kicking that no one expected during the first quarter.... I still get emotional watching it.
In recent memory the Dallas Monday Night game stands out... cmon that was a huge win... MNF... in dallas as they induct the triplets into their ring of fame and we're down by 13 with 4 mins to go... scoreless no less.... thats a game that was meant for all of the fans who don't turn off games...
Ugh, and I did, but I've since learned my lesson. |
The game I will always remember, vs Dallas two years ago.. Moss pulled two touchdowns in and upset Dallas in less 4 mins of 4th qr..

I agree with all, but let's not forget that game against the Bears in the playoffs when Darrell Green hurdles the guy on a punt return. What a moment!!!!!
My thougts exactly, but I would say Charles Mann & D. Green in that game, both made it happen. Of course, Green hurdles the dude & hurts his ribs so he gets mad props for that. On offense, D. williams to R. Sanders over the broncos & that includes our O-line, cause they absolutely dominated, made Denver's D-line look like a Division II team! |
