I mention Clinton's name and everyone assumes I'm starting a political attack, but if I had voted for him, I'd be just as outraged and want his removal just because it is the right thing to do.
You'd really want a President you voted for to be removed for getting a B.J. and/or lying about it?

I don't think Sen. Craig should resign or be disavowed because he was trying to score some action in a bathroom. I think he should be ridiculed for being a grade A a-hole. A guy who champions himself as a "family values" conservative and who rails against gays, but who is trying to get with boys in the boys room, deserves to be "outed" as an idiot and hypocrite.

Why?
They have a job that the majority of us don't want, and they are tempted every 3 seconds with doing something illegal. What if you were approached to sign a bill that you were slightly against, but someone offered you 50k to sign it? Would you do it? Of course the majority of us say yes because we're not in the situation, but what if you weren't?
It's like the man that doesn't want to cheat on his wife, but when he's presented with Jessica Alba and no one would know, how many truely wouldn't cheat?
Did I hear correctly? Did Buster call Bill Clinton a rapist?

Clinton had sex with an intern who consented to the affair. I'm not huge on him having an affair on his wife, but I feel that's his personal business. It's when you start harping against that stuff and running your campaign on it, then do it that I have a real problem. If this guy didn't base his campaign around hating gay folks, then I wouldn't really care less.

No one seemed to care when Kennedy was banging out Marilyn Monroe on a regular basis.
Juanita Broaddrick. Look her up.

Well if you're gonna use Juanita Broadrick here, shouldn't you preface rape with "alleged"

WOW! Have you heard of morales? You are saying the only thing that keeps you from doing in-morale acts is the chance of being caught. Not good my friend.

I think you need to go back and read my comment again.
#1- that's not what I said for me personally, but the majority of people that do poor things are because they feel they won't get caught, and everyone in the world has done something immoral. So please don't try to sound so high and mighty, you're not perfect either.
#2- I have never cheated on my wife, but if Jessica Alba showed up on my doorstep, it would be damn tough to say no.
#3- You are obviously not capable of seeing things beyond your nose by saying what you said. You can not understand what these guys go through. It has to be tough to say no to thousands of dollars, and doing things that may seem insignificant for personal gain.
Everyone can sit back and judge, but not everyone is capable of seeing things from someone elses perspective. Fact is, no one knows how they respond to a situation until they are in that situation.
Being a politician is tough. You are thought of as scum in most cases, or at the least corrupt. You are in the public eye (no more so than in the DC area) and every time you take a shit, there is someone there to comment on it. You skrew up at all and it's all over the news. These are just people, and they are only human.

you know why i hate politicians?

its because they arent america, they never went to a public school, they never had a real job. they are not what america is all about. how can you run a country in which you have never really had to do anything in?

i used to vote but im not sure i will again. for the simple fact that it doesnt matter which is elected, they all fuck up the country even more anyways.

excuse my french

That's actually a very good point. Most politicians, even though they claim they came from "the streets" do not understand the fact that they had a silver spoon in their mouth from the get go. How can you understand the common man, when you are far from common?
On the flip side, the common man would never make it because we the people would never vote for someone like that, and the common man does not have the financial backing.
So how does someone overcome those obsticles?

I don't recall reading about Bill Clinton growing up with a silver spoon in his mouth, as an example

Ditto Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, Abe Lincoln, U.S. Grant. And those are just the Republicans. The people's party, The Democrats, must have loads of politicians with humble origins... Actually Andrew Jackson is the only one I could think of (besides Brother Clinton). Jimmy Carter was a cracker from Georgia but he lived pretty well compared to most of his neighbors-peanut subsidies you know. Kennedy was wealthy but as an Irish Catholic was never accepted by the "good people" of Boston. That must have been a terrible hardship. Likewise FDR was well connected but he had polio - and Eleanor. Poverty would have seemed downright alluring to him at times I suspect.

At any rate I don't think there is any evidence that commom people make better leaders than rich people.

thats because once they start rising with power, they start forgetting, and playing that same old political game. it takes a hell of alot of people to get someone elected to any high ranking office. then, once elected, its pay back time, qualified or not

This guy is a total loser. I mean, what kind of a sick fu#k goes in a men's room in an airport, and tries to get it on with another man??? Then you vote against gay laws?? It kind of reminds me of the movie American Beauty. Dude should just resign and go back to Idaho.

Did I say "every politician"?

But in the spirit of pulling crap out of nowhere, his wife had a huge silver spoon in her mouth.
