Re: Who is the surprise team in the NFC in 2007
how about the saints, no one surprised they are 0-2
I thought the Bucs would be the last team to win a game this year. Never imagined they'd beat the Saints. I can't believe the Rams are 0-2. |
The Panthers have been missing something ever since they got rid of Stephen Davis
A load in their pants? LOL. Davis was overrated for them. He had a great season in 03 (played with a chip on his shoulder) then sucked in 05 (12 td's, but a 3.0 YPC). |

Someone who can do that in the Redzone and goal line. They have to throw too much and are too reliant on Steve Smith. They are seriously in need of a consistent running game. |

I don't disagree with you. I think they are afraid to use Williams like that, and Foster is too fragile. I also feel after Smith, they are slim pickens. |

I also feel after Smith, they are slim pickens.
My sentiments exactly. They just need to start Williams and call it a day. Let Foster spell him. |

Absolutely. Don't worry...in another week or two Foster will get hurt. |
Re: Who is the surprise team in the NFC in 2007
Matt Millen, John Kitna and the Lions. Surprise so far. Don't let the 2-0 start fool ya. I'll be shocked if we see the 10 wins or a playoff birth. I still don't believe...

In this order.
Arizona San Fran And Green Bay. |
Re: Who is the surprise team in the NFC in 2007
I have a bet that the Saints don't do any better than 8/8 so I'm not too surprised with their play. I'd say the Skins but I'm not surprised they beat the Finns and after they beat Philly people will start to take some notice. The group of guys I hang out with playing golf on Saturdays is very split up with who they like as a team. We have a few Dallas, Eagles fans who act like we have no chance this year and the Eagle fan is like who do you have on your team who is any good. I just keep my mouth shut and will wait until we beat them to say "an a$$ whipping from a bunch of no names". If asked if Green Bay would be 2/0 a couple of weeks ago I would have said no way maybe 1/1.

Re: Who is the surprise team in the NFC in 2007
I never thought the Saints would be good again. For some reason nothing on their team really catches my eye and I think they were a one hit wonder. As for the Packers, they could go really far.

Re: Who is the surprise team in the NFC in 2007
Saints are horrible, will be lucky to win 6 games. Bush is overrated, as well as Brees. They don't just lose, but get blown out. I am wondering if last year was sort of a gimme by the other teams to give NO something to believe in while there town was destroyed. Another surprise are the Rams, they will suck also. Barely lost to a lackluster 49ers team at home. Green Bay and the Lions are the positive surprises in the NFC thus far. Dallas is where folks envisioned them to be, on top vying for the SB. They beat the shit out of the Dolphins in Miami where we needed a FG in OT to beat them at Fedex.
