Re: Who's The Most Overrated Team After Week 2
Yes, but I think that people are giving them a lot more credit than they deserve. Romo completes less than half his passes and Green is handing out great field position... bad combo.
True - bad combo, unless we start getting some of that luck, then it would be a good combo. It will be interesting to see how Dallas and Washington look when we meet in week 11. Then we can draw better comparisons. I'm not going to call any team overrated or underrated until mid-season. |
Re: Who's The Most Overrated Team After Week 2
There have been a few suprise teams going 2-0 to start the season, but I don't know that any of them have actually been overated thus far. They are suprising because no one (except them) expected them to be in the position they're in. So, talked about yes, overated, I'm not so sure.
The Denver Broncos. A win is a win, no doubt. But they've needed last second field goals to squeak by the Bills and the Raiders (the Raiders at home no less), and yet a lot of people have them as a top 5-7 team. In fact, if I remember right, Terrell Davis called them the best 2-0 team last night on Total Access. Which is just ridiculous
second that. Denver |
It wasn't like the Dallas D was super talented to get those picks. Those bitches dropped RIGHT into their arms.
hate to disagree, but 2 of those picks were ill advised throws from a QB with Spencer bearing down on him. The other 2 were all on Henry making great breaks on the ball, he worked for those. |
Re: Who's The Most Overrated Team After Week 2
sorry you're wrong! He had one he worked for others were bad throws. Your d is weak.

I know it's biased coming from a Skins fan (or coming from you a Cowboys fan) but I think most of the league agrees those were horrible throws and it wasn't exactly a lot of duress he was under. |
Re: Who's The Most Overrated Team After Week 2
Absolutely has to be the Detroit Lions. They beat two awful teams. Minnesota has a solid D, but their offense is a joke. And they needed OT at home to beat them. And week 1 they beat Oakland.

Re: Who's The Most Overrated Team After Week 2
Detroit. They have NO running game and are suspect on defense.
|
Re: Who's The Most Overrated Team After Week 2
New Orleans. Not only are they 0-2, but they've been manhandled in both loses. Nevertheless the media seems convinced that the Saints are going back to the playoffs. Reggie Bush really needs to learn to start following his blockers.

Then we agree to disagree. |
Re: Who's The Most Overrated Team After Week 2
Packers- no way should they be 5th in power rankings...they played the pathetic Giants, and the McNabb is sucking teams!
Tennessee- AT only 1-1 they are still considered a good to great team in the AFC, they are not at all a good to great team...they are average at best. They should be 0-2 right now to boot. The patriots...that's right, I said it. Everyone is talking about them going 16-0. PFFFF. These issues will be only get bigger and weigh on them as the season goes on. Of course they will make the playoffs, the AFC east is weak, but they won't go far. In fact, I guarentee they will not win the SB, they won't even make the SB. |
