Re: Giants- New England...........TV History
I would like to see both teams play their asses off.
This time of year sort of bothers me with teams playing half-assed. I know injuries area a concern, and the playoffs are all that matter, but by golly it's still football and make it competitive! I think the Patriots should play their starters to win and go into the playoffs knowing they are basically the best team ever. And the Giants should do the same - if they could beat the Patriots, talk about momentum going into the playoffs. |
Re: Giants- New England...........TV History
If they do beat the Patriots it could either be a lot of momentum or they could have a huge letdown the next game, as they basically already beat the "superbowl" team. I'd love to see it though. SCHADENFREUDE FOR EVERYONE!!!
In the off chance that we face the Giants in the NFC championship game, i'd like to take as much momentum from them as possible. A thorough lashing, with a few minor injuries to key players would be great. Nothing serious mind, jesus wouldnt like me wishing ill health on other people. :)
Thanks so much!:hater: |

Congratulations on Plaxico practicing. He's such a good role model for all of the children of New York.
:) Good luck in the first round of the playoffs. |
Just picture if Brady breaks something during this game. What would happen with the Pats then?
Well, they were all in smiles after "breaking" so many records. Does that answer your question? |

I'm curious to know what you think about Belichick playing the starters for the whole game? It's quite a big risk. If you lost Brady, Moss, or an O-lineman, you're chances of winning the Superbowl would have decreased dramatically. Was it worth the risk? |
Re: Giants- New England...........TV History
They had to play their starters and go for the win.
