Re: Make Your Day Two Redskins Draft Selections (Rounds 3-7)
What does everyone know about Josh Johnson, QB out of San Diego? Played in a pro-style WC under Jim Harbaugh. Possible late rounder?
I like him, but I don't think he's that under the radar. We'd need to use our third rounder to get him, and we just can't afford to use that pick at the QB position.

No chance he slips to the 5th round? |

Maybe. If we could just get are hands on enough heroin to get someone charged with pocession, not dealing, then we slide it into his SUV next to a pair of gloves to explain why his finger prints arent on the bag. Then we call in a tip to the San Diego police and BOOM!!! Joshua Johnson, fifth round pick. |

Of course with the draft you never know. Last year some people said there was little chance that Troy Smith would slip as much as he did. Ryan Kalil, possibly one of the ten best players in last years draft, slipped all the way down to late second round. A few years ago Matt Jones was a first round pick. The Chargers took Craig Davis, LSU's third WR, in the first round last year. Alan Branch, at one point a top 10 pick, slipped all the way to the second round. First pick in the second round but still. I wish I could come up with some more late round example but thats all I have for now. The point is you never know whats going to happen on draft day. |
ike doesn't even look like he'll be drafted right now.
rudolph hardie looks like a great value DE in the 6th or 7th round. 71 TT, 10 sacks for div2 howard is still pretty good, and those late picks aren't worth much anyways.
Howard's football team isn't division II it is 1-AA. Its a lesser version of the 1-A. It is the only program that our school competes in that isn't 1-A. But yea, he would be a good developmental pick for us. |
Some teams are concerned he might be the next Pac Man Jones
He was arrested for robbing a house with his brother on campus 2 years ago so i have to agree. He is terriffic on the field. If we were lucky and he stayed outta trouble would you take him? |

Manningham declared for the draft this year, and I've seen him being drafted in the 1st-2nd round. |
Re: Make Your Day Two Redskins Draft Selections (Rounds 3-7)
I dont know college players well enough at this point. I wait to hear conversation or for people to distinguish themselves. Anyhow, I want a kicker late. I'd love to get a kicker and punter in here for the long term.
