Re: ESPN: Snyder, Skins Appear Committed to New Approach
Break-down of all Free Agents since 2000. Skins have some good, bad, and ugly!!

Re: Changes look good
Just to recap. the past month:
1. Hired a relatively unheralded coach who is known for being a great teacher, and a high-character guy. 2. Promoted Vinny to the executive personnel position (effectively making him our general manager) 3. Announced that we would be taking a conservative approach to a free agency market that we perceive to be a seller's market 4. Retained a great deal of our coaching staff 5. Quelched any potential for a QB controversy 6. Removed a talented, high-priced player who was a cancer My opinion? These are all the right moves. In just one month my perception of the Redskins and Snyder has really changed quite a bit. Here's to hoping they keep it up
Are you that sold on number 2? |

at least we know who's accountable now |
Re: ESPN: Snyder, Skins Appear Committed to New Approach
If things go south over the next 2-3 years, you think Vinny would take more heat than Zorn?
|
Re: ESPN: Snyder, Skins Appear Committed to New Approach
If it's due to personnel issues, sure. Why would he not?

Re: ESPN: Snyder, Skins Appear Committed to New Approach
I apologize if you've already hashed this out with someone else. But you could leak to the press before firing Zorn, that he was instrumental and had equal say in the personel decision making process. Im just speculating, but we both know that Vinny swings an awfully big D with Dan.

Re: ESPN: Snyder, Skins Appear Committed to New Approach
take your time, there are alot of teams out there looking to get rid of players, they know what we need let them come to us that way we get a better deal

Re: ESPN: Snyder, Skins Appear Committed to New Approach
I like the approach, but I think snyder is kicking himself for not repeating his usual mistakes.

Re: ESPN: Snyder, Skins Appear Committed to New Approach
I wonder how George Allen would have faired during the Internet Age. Lol, "Allen trades 1st round pick for Jared Allen. 2nd round pick for Marcus Stroud and 3rd round pick for Javon Walker."

Refreshingly nice article! Thanks for sharing. I am excited about this approach the Redskins are taking and hopefully it will pay off. We will know in time.
