I have a hard time swallowing this. I find it hard to believe that he is a habitual f**k up. Maybe it really didn't go down that way because I refuse to believe that anyone is that stupid.
I believe it. I know a couple of people that I worked with that did stupid stuff (exposing in public, running from the cops for several miles). Just because this guy gets publicity doesn't mean there are some non-famous people continuously screwing up their lives.

I have met plenty, but all of them had shitty lives to begin wiith. For someone who essentially has it made, why keep screwing up?

Who in life has taught him not to? He probably hasn't worked a real days work in his life. He has likely been pampered and adored for his football skills making him think he is larger than life.

If common sense were common then he would play football now and do the dumb stuff later.

It just brings me back to a south park quote (yes all life's problems can be related to a south park quote)

"25% of all people are retards."

Henry is in that 25%.

Someone started a thread on this at that other forum.

"Bengals released Henry today per espn.com. I know the guy has a bit of a past, (ok, a horrendous past) but he's only 24, and 6-4 with talent.... just the type of big receiver we need, i say we go after him."

Laughs uncontrollably, shakes head from side to side, and sighs.....

Absolutely no way! He's looking at another suspension this year and will probably screw up again before the season even starts.

Re: Chris Henry Charged with Assault; Waived by Bengals

Being a huge WVU fan as well i watched this kid play college football and he was just as big a screw up there but it was always pushed under the rug. I saw a number of games where he would go off on coaches, act like a jerk on sidelines, he gave the finger to a group of fans behind the bench, then had to physically be dragged off the field by players. but, he was back in the lineup next week after a statement release "i am sorry for acting like a....." which was probably written by Rich Rod. no way this jackass should play in the NFL. he is a fool. he will end up in jail before the end of the season.

my second statement - I have seen all around the league of players getting in trouble, or players holding out because of the "me want more money" or bad mouthing the franchise. One thing I am so glad we have done in the last 4 years is to go out and get good character guys. We have to be one of the best franchises in the NFL for having high quality guys on and off the field. We may not be the best on field franchise (yet) but we certainly are on if not the best off field franchises. That goes to all the guys up stairs (Joe, Vinny, and Dan) good job!

Re: Chris Henry Charged with Assault; Waived by Bengals

Is everyone already saying he is 100% guilty??? What if all the charges are dropped?? Going off of his past I think he's guilty but look what happened to Randy Moss? Some bitch charged him with some BS and none of it was true. Let the legal process take place before we drill the guy.

If he's 100% innocent ( which I doubt ) then why wouldn't we take a look at this guy??

I think we should bring him in for a workout after his pending suspension is up. This kid can turn it around.
