Re: We Still Play This Sunday Against the Bengals
It amazes me how anyone can think we're going to beat Philly and SF. Both are playing better than we are. Philly just beat NY at NY. This week is going to be a total struggle against Cinn and I would not be shocked if we lose.
Skins 16 Cinn 13
So your saying if the Skins come out playing great ball there is no way we can beat Phill or SF? |
Re: We Still Play This Sunday Against the Bengals
The Skins dont score and that makes it tough to beat anybody including the Bungles. That said I think the Skins will barely squeeze out a W.
Skins 12 Cinn 10 |
Re: We Still Play This Sunday Against the Bengals
I expect Cinn to play very hard. They took NY to overtime, they tied Philly and very well could've beaten Dallas. We just lost Samuels and our line can't pass block. Their defense has to be licking their chops. This is not going to be a walk in the park. None of our games are.
Yep.....especially when Moss has not scored or caught more than five passes in a game since Week 8! :( WTF happened to us!? |
Re: We Still Play This Sunday Against the Bengals
Wouldn't it be ironic if this was our only blowout win of the season?
Blowout? Are you kidding me? Folks were talking blowout against the Rams and Lions. We lost to the former and almost let the latter tie it up in the end. THere will be no blowouts either way for the rest of the schedule. Win or lose, it is going to be ugly, but close!!!! |

Re: We Still Play This Sunday Against the Bengals
To start the weekend off good the Saints loose tonight. We spank bengals, Giants spank Dallas, and the Browns pull one out over the Eagles.

Re: We Still Play This Sunday Against the Bengals
redskins be the bengals 31-10 and have a big week at home against Philly 28-17 and squeak one vs 49ers 20-17 and sneak into the playoff

Don't forget the dirty-birds need to get their asses handed to them on sunday ;) If all those things happen and we win I will say the gods favor us. If all those things happen and we lose I will say unabashedly we suck donkey balls and the players don't deserve their paychecks. |

Nice to see some new optimism around here... |

If the Teen Wonder Twins (11, 12) wake the eff up it'll be a Redskins rout, if not....

Re: We Still Play This Sunday Against the Bengals
Sunday we come out, put all the BS aside and play some good football. We should see more of our rookies in this game than we've seen all year. Instead of trying to play up to expectations, we just come out and play football. I expect Portis to have some hellacious blocks, Thomas to have his best game yet, and maybe even have Kelly and DAVIS make some contributions. We win, and we win BIG.

C'mon 53, expecting the usual punishment Portis delivers on blitzing defenders just doesn't get me excited. How about a 200 yard day for the Mouth from Miami? I say CP comes out w/ a huge chip on his shoulder and has his best game of the season. |
