Sorry, but Nartz might be a good thing here. THe WCO sucks balls and overall will be a failure once everything is said and done. THe WCO is passe, like the option is in college football now. Both systems were run by everyone in the 80's and 90's, but were figured out. THe WCO of Zorn needs some work or to be totally replaced. I think it doesn't play to JCs #1 strength, which is his cannon arm.
1.) Several current NFL teams are successful running the WCO 2.) The WCO is no more "figured out" than any other offensive scheme 3.) You can't run a WCO without a QB who is a deep threat To all the people who want to change yet again: shut-up. The only thing that needs to change is our impulsive desire for change. |

Why do you think Martz would be a good thing here when 1) we run a different system 2) his system requires a good offensive line which we don't have 3) we already have an OC BTW a list of teams that run the 'passe' WCO: Philly Seahawks Vikings Tampa Bay Denver New York Jets Texans Bills Bears |

You have this same tired take in any thread talking about the offense, and time after time people point out a number of teams that currently run the WCO with success and some of them are even playoff teams. I think it's time to come up with a new rant. Thread closed, I think it's run it's course. Martz isn't coming back. |
