Well with 8 kids I think you would have to be a total control freak or things would get out of control real quick. I actually think that with her situation she faces each day with a positive attitude.
The last thing that woman is, is positive. With the amount of free stuff and help they have gotten over the years I am not all that impressed with her abilities to handle. Every day when I take my kid to daycare/school and see 20 kids and two teachers I lose a little more respect for Kate's "crazy" household. |
We watch the food network all the time and my wife loves House Hunters. If I'm correct they look at 3 house and dicuss the pros and cons of each then at the end of the show they put a contract in for one of the houses. If thats right do you sit around and try to guess which house they pick?
Yes, yes my wife and I do this...either that, or we pick one and see if they pick the one we do. When they don't, we make fun of them. I like House Hunters International better, seeing the different locales and how real estate prices differ from here in the US. But yes, if we don't have anything to watch on DVR, it's usually Food Network, HGTV or Travel Channel. We're hooked on Man v. Food. The guy who hosts that show is a glutton for gastro-punishment. |
Re: Eight is Enough
House Hunters always throws in one house they really can't afford just so they can show something nice.
Here is something to watch for. Always at the end when they are discussing the house they picked they are 9 out of 10 times holding a coffee mug. I think it is to give them something to do with their hands when fliming. I think the dialogue between the couple and real estate agent is priceless, it is so fake. I always pray the wife or real estate agent is hot it makes it easier to watch since my wife "makes" me watch the show with her. |

Re: Eight is Enough
Back on subject. I wonder what it cost to raise 8 kids at once with all at the same age. When kids are different ages things can get used over and over but these kids will out grow the same stuff at the same time. I'd like to know what the Med bill is just for their birth and for the months of care they will receive over the next year. That alone has to run in the millions.

It was always hilarious. "Hey honey we got the house!" And the HH cameras just happened to be here for the call! |

She already had 6 kids and she was taking fertility treatmeants?? W..T...F ??? That's just dumb. 14 kids?? Dear god. She's never going to sleep again. Ever. Plus she's described in the article as "fairly young," and she still lives with her parents. This is just plain irresponsible. |

I could not believe this when I heard that this mother had six other kids and she is not even married and filed for bankruptcy just 1 1/2 years ago. I wonder what this is going to cost the tax payers who will probably end up funding this lady. Was it the blond girl with the South African husband living south of Indianapolis. Or was it the couple from Vegas? |
Re: Eight is Enough

Now it's coming out that she's declared bankruptcy after moving out of the house over a year ago. Spay this woman. |
