:) That was good. But I have a feeling he'll say, " Well of course he's playing well he has a good line, a good running game and good receivers. The people who don't like him will never give him any credit just like some take up for him no matter what he does. I'm not about to make a bold statement about what he'll do. I think it's yet to be seen.
Hey if the light does come on for this guy and he turns it around i will man up and say i was wrong and that im sorry to the JC faithful. But so far it looks like that would have to be a huge turnaround. After hearing all of the good things that we heard he was doing in camp i expected alot more than what he has shown but so far it seems to be the same ol JC. We will see this week. |

Lanky Livingston.....The Legend! I would love to see more of this! Seriously...hopefully he keeps improving. I love to see guys defy the odds and fight their way to the top. He seems to be a humble guy yet he refused to be pushed around and take s**t from the DB's. Pretty good speed and pretty smart from what I understand. After the Brandon Lloyd crap it would be great to see this guy make it. If Lloyd had his attitude maybe he could actually play the game worth a damn. Ha-ha..that DB didn't stand a chance. |
Re: WR Depth Chart
Im sure he's great but I will reserve judgement until he faces a first unit of another team. Lets see what he does against Springs
This is actually a legal way to score a touchdown in the NFL? Who knew? |
Re: WR Depth Chart
#1. Yes it's pre-season
#2. Yes it's 2nd and 3rd teamers #3. Yes it's pre-season However .. that picture is worth a thousand words seriously, how great does that look .. what a break if he blew up like a Marques Colston .. The Skins' have to get lucky in the draft every now and again .. (see Chris Hornton ) |

Also set for the future to groom DT to take over Moss spot one day. You see how valuable Plaxico was to the Giants when he was playing. Now imagine 2 players with good hands and around the same height. If this works out as planned we will have an awesome receiving core. |
Re: WR Depth Chart
i think mitchell within a year will line up at #2
|
Re: WR Depth Chart
If you remember when they drafted DT he was the better WR but was very raw, he does seem very sulky but i beleive we are good with him and are set for years to come with our WR's Moss, DT, MK, REL & MM. HTTR.

Re: WR Depth Chart
At this point I would say Kelly might have the edge over DT for the #2. Thomas needs to show a flash in these last 2 preseason games.
As far as Mitchell, perhaps a great story in the making. Maybe this year's Horton of the offense? |
Re: WR Depth Chart
What we all have to remember is this is a reporter saying this not JZ, and all reports coming out of TC are the battle is close between DT & MK. I want all our WR's to do great it allows JC to have much more weapons.

Re: WR Depth Chart
Devin Thomas better watch out or he will be watching from the sidelines and if he gets demoted back that far to #5 I promise you he will sulk and his development with this team will be at an end. Not that I care that much because I never thought he was any good.
Happy for him to prove me wrong, but the dude is just too stiff. No fluidity at all.
I always thought that too, he looks more like a running back, doesn't seem that agile. Maybe he just looks that way due to his bulk? That was a tough grab he made sat. night from collins. Otherwise, he looks hesitant/lost. His body language doesn't look assertive at all. Hopefully, he'll step up. I agree w/you that he may be a problem if he is demoted. |
Re: WR Depth Chart
Of course we'd all like to see MM have a colston like year, but if he makes the 53 & gets on the field some as the 4 or 5 wr, that is stellar for a 7th round pick that Vinny said is still "raw."
This is a perfect example of why you need to keep & acquire more draft picks; a guy you draft in the 7th might turn out to compete for time w/a couple guys you draft in the 2nd. If Rob Jackson & Horton continue to play well, that's pretty good success rate for the last couple years in the 7th. |
Re: WR Depth Chart
everyone needs to chill on the marko mitchell bandwagon....including myself. he had a nice game against some 3rd teamers. what we're hearing in practice is very encouraging. one thing i like is he's not backing down from the db's in practice and then he did it in a game. but let's see how he does the next two weeks before we crown him the next colston. lol.

Re: WR Depth Chart
Do you guys think we could have the second coming of the "posse" here. God it has been so long since we have had more than one WR that has had good production. Since Gibbs 2.0 arrived it's the Portis, Cooley, Moss Show. I would love to see a second coming of Monk, Clark, and Sanders.
Could this group have the talent. Breaking it down Clark = Moss, Monk= Kelly, Clark = Are. I was a kid back in the 80's but I remember that Clark was our deep threat. Monk was the man in the middle who caught everything ( he seemed to be the guy who always converted on third downs and my personal favorite of the 3 ). Sanders I can't seem to remeber what he did best other than being on the field making plays. I still remember those guys all putting up a 1000 yards in one season. Man those were the days. The days when we were feared and always talked about as being one of the best teams in football. I long for that once again. :) |
