Re: Time to move the F on, let's talk about the Lions
Lions win 20-17 on late FG. Detroit fans go crazy!
Redskins fans also go crazy but in an entirely different way. Joseph, The Fan, writes another profane, yet hilarious, email to Chris Cooley but Cooley is not in the mood to publish it. |

Herm Edwards! Now there's a man that knows a thing or two about inept offenses ... |
Re: Time to move the F on, let's talk about the Lions
Man oh man, I'm very worried about this game. Very worried. Alot of people are picking the Lions to win... and I have absolutley no problem with that. I think the Lions have a very good shot at breaking their streak. If the Redskins offense plays in the Red Zone like they did last week, I dont' care how well our defense plays, I would almost gaurantee the Lions win. I think they're a better team than St. Louis is.
That being said, across the board we have much more talent than the Lions. If it werent for a long run by Stephen Jackson on one play that Hall took a bad angle last week, we probaboly shut out the Rams. (and if Avery dosent fumble, we might lose, too). Offensivley, Detroit was able to score against New Orleans, and played a good 1st Quarter against Minnesota. I think the Redskins have always played better under pressure, and they're under alot of pressure this week. They're being absolutley trashed on offense, and rightfully so. This game goes one of two ways, if you ask me... We get our asses in gear and score a few touchdowns and win comforatbly like 24-7 or something like that. However, if its a close game, I think Detroit will win. Here's hoping the Skins' jump out to a 10-14 point lead early and take control of the game. I'm gonna go with the first route, because I want to belive in this team and say 24-7 Redskins. I will not be shocked if it ends up going Detroits way.
Very well said, and exactly my thoughts as well. |

Why do you even spend the time if you cannot even pick them to beat the Lions?LOL |
Re: Time to move the F on, let's talk about the Lions
Redskins - 19
Lions - 16 Win by the skin of our teeth, and still can't get over the 20 point hump, for what, like 20+ games? After seeing them last week, there is nothing they've shown to make me believe that they can score over 20 in this game over all the others that they've failed to do so. I hope they prove me wrong. |

Re: Time to move the F on, let's talk about the Lions
If you thought last week was a trap game, oh boy. This is a lose-lose for the Redskins. Blow out, and it'll be where has that offense been? Close win or close loss, and it'll be more scrutiny about playcalling and player execution. Blow out loss, and it'll be Detroit's streak was to end somehow, and Zorn will be hung in effigy in front of Redskins Park when the team bus rolls back from Dulles last Sunday night.
Unless Zorn lets Campbell loose, the defense and Suisham will carry the Skins once again. Skins 19 Lions 9 |
Re: Time to move the F on, let's talk about the Lions
Defense continues to scheme better, CB play improves, Stafford makes mistakes due to DL pressure. Offense continues solid production between the 20s and addresses the RZ issues. More Leads/ISO in the run game, fades in the RZ.

Lions 14 We give up two TDs to Calvin Johnson, and our offense still struggles to put up points. But Devin Thomas busts out a KR for a TD, and Andre Carter clinches it when he scoops up an Albert Haynesworth forced fumble into the end zone
If AC scoops up big Al and carries him < and the ball > into the endzone ,,,, I would be impressed !!!
