Let's see what happens when the flyers come into our house.. Oct 27th.
Not that I'm happy with the loss it but I'm actually quite pleased with how well they were able to do with virtually 20 PIM due to minors (I think it was 25 if you included the Bradly fight) against a team like the Flyers, plus if this type of stuff was going to happen I would rather it happen now then come playoff time. Still a little nervous about our Goalie situation as I'm sure the whole fan base that follows it is. Damn ESPN putting us atop the Power Rankings, way to jinx us espen. Semin is awesome though, I really hope we can lock him up to a long term contract. |

I'm also concerned about the goalie situation. Our D isn't helping us much either. Frankly I'm a bit tired of hearing what a great defenseman Mike Green is. He's great at scoring when compared to other defenders, but he's been asleep since late last season. |

allllrighty....
Rangers at Capitals - 10/08/2009 - NHL.com - Game Previews Another big test, but this time on our ice. I'm going to Chinatown for some pre-game drinks, and then I'll be one of the 18,277 strong in attendance @ the phone booth. Rock the Red. Last Caps game I went to was game 1 of the playoffs vs. the Rangers, and a giant brawl ensued after the game. Lets hope Rangers fans can be a little more civil this time, because the poor souls that started the brawl were taken over by the red army. Hard to get pumped up for the 4th game of the season, but the way ovi and co are playing its hard not to enjoy it. |

Sadly they did not... and they were given a garbillion chances. Right now, not a bad 2-0 start. Green's goal was pretty. I really really really want to kill this trend of giving up in the second half of the game. Just got my tickets to the game this Thursday. Rock the Red bitches. |
Re: Washington Capitals 2009-2010 ongoing thread
got to see us lose the other day :(

Re: Washington Capitals 2009-2010 ongoing thread
Please. Please. Please.... win tonight. And if we lose, I don't want to be up by 15 goals and then have them come back. No games are important this early... but it's important to stop this ridiculous trend.

Re: Washington Capitals 2009-2010 ongoing thread
Does anyone know what Jose only played in the first period tonight? I'm flipping back and forth so I'm not sure if he's injured or what.
LOL. It's not mentioned in the game chat?
Oh yeah, I forgot to check that after the Real Time thing gave my computer virtual gas. It just says undisclosed injury and I guess they made the discussion after the first intermission. I think we was questionable from the start so he might just be banged up, I hope.

Re: Washington Capitals 2009-2010 ongoing thread
Varlamov is looking good. I came in when it was 3-1 in either the late 1st or early second but it seems like he's having a good game. Nice to see our 3rd or 4th line get a goal.
By the way does anyone know the chances of Carlson getting called up this year? |
Re: Washington Capitals 2009-2010 ongoing thread

Way to go The GREAT 8 (Another Deuce) and the other Alex, and how bout VARLY! Job well done at the booth! ROCK THAT RED. Needed this one! GO CAPS!!!!! |
