Re: Skins Future?
With the way we seem to have been snakebitten lately, Snyder could bring in someone like Bill Parcells and this would be the one place where even he couldn't get it together.
He only got it half way turned around in Dallas before Jerry ran him out of town. I am afraid Snyder would do the same. Though a part thinks if we ever start winning Snyder will stick with whatever is working. I really do think he only really wants to win but can't figure out how and just can't get out of his own way. |

Truer words... It really just depends on Snyder and his ego. I mean when you put the profits aside, he's been a total failure for 10 years now at what evidently is his day job: managing the Redskins. His ego would have to be enormous to not take a much different approach i.e. hire a smart professional to piece the organization back together. I'm not holding my breath. |
Re: Skins Future?
all and all if we dont clean house ..were in for another 5 years of this mess we need a major league overhaul....i dont see it happening i think snyder and cerrato are gunna bring in yet another minion ..more of the same imo...how is it the bills get no grief for firing a coach mid season

Re: Skins Future?
That is the dark horse, a Snyder-Parcel Marriage. It would be the ultimate one up to JJ. Especially if Snyder can be successful with Parcels when Jerry couldn't

I tend to think Parcells stays in Miami long enough to build a winner. |
Well then you're talking about sustained success over a period of time and that may take a little while. They can easily jump to the playoffs next year and be the darlings of the NFL but then just as easily revert to a middle of the road team. We see it all the time.
I can agree and i believe vinny needs to go and they need to be smart about their personnel decisions (which is not their expertise) with whom ever follows him as well as a new coach. |
