Re: Jason campbells trade value
No because Betts is Old and had a bad knee injury.. Our best bet for good picks is trading 47.
You mean our tight end who had a foot injury? Solid. I still think this whole "let's trade Cooley" thing is laughable. Just as laughable as the notion of drafting a QB with a twice-injured shoulder with the #4. |

the browns rams raiders bills 49ers teams that do not want to give the 1st round pick on a QB but need one |

he wasn't? we still have campbell, the bears have cutler and the broncos have orton. i call that choosing orton over campbell. if denver thought campbell was better than orton they would have accepted our offer. |

are offer was 2 first and Jcam the bears gave orton two 1st and a 3rd |

Well McD sort of chose Orton over Cutler too. |

If that is what you call it and if you ignore all of the rest of the parts of the deal that went down, that is a good indication as to why there aren't a half-dozen NFL teams knocking down your doors to make you their Director of Player Personnel or their GM. It was NEVER a choice of Cutler/Campbell/Orton. If it were that simple, Danny Boy would have bid higher in terms of money for the three of them and gotten Orotn - - whom the Skins lusted after - - than the notoriously cheap Bears. This was a deal that Danny Boy's money could not make all by itself. |
Re: Jason campbells trade value
Another team would get better value by trading for him and we would get worse value in trading him away.

That shoud be more attractive to teams that he has no big contract |

As far as Bradford goes, he is still projected as the number 1 qb, so it wouldn't be so dumb to draft him . You can have jc who has a horrible record |

There will be a team that drafts Bradford/McCoy/Clausen and they will look for a reliable target for him to grow with. ala Falcons. |
