re: First Cuts: Holmes, E. Williams, Dearth, Davis
In the event that he CAN play Thursday, I'd keep him around to audition him.
I'm more in favor of putting him in IR, but if they cut him, I couldnt be too upset at this point.
IF teams are cutting the likes of Antonio Bryant, I don't think the Kelly's of the world will garner any attention. Better off cutting Kelly, keeping Galloway for a season and draft/acquire some rooks next preseason. Draft a guy, then sign a bunch of undrafted Wrs. Odds are we can find another Armstrong, then we will be styling for awhile at WR!!!! |
re: First Cuts: Holmes, E. Williams, Dearth, Davis
Casey Rabach sucks balls, I wish we could cut him.
Id put money that kelly is gone this round. You dont practice, what is your reason for staying? So we can get a closer look at you ride the ****in pine? Enough with this guy taking up a spot on our roster. BYE BYE
Looks like he will be getting one last chance to prove himself, unless he hurts himself again. Redskins Insider - Malcolm Kelly to practice Monday, play Thursday |
re: First Cuts: Holmes, E. Williams, Dearth, Davis
Well if this is true, than yes Beck and Bartel both will get lots of game time Thursday - from rotoworld.com :
Rex Grossman told beat writers Ryan O'Halloran and Grant Paulsen that he would be held out of the Redskins' preseason finale. Coach Mike Shanahan later told Paulsen that "McNabb's status could change how much he plays Grossman." Sitting Grossman for the preseason finale signals that the team doesn't want their backup getting hurt, leading us to deduce that the team is more concerned with Donovan McNabb's ankle injury than they have let on. Source: Ryan O'Halloran on Twitter
Q: Name the only QB to lead us to a 4th quarter comeback win this year. A: Rich Bartel! THAT is why he will play Thursday. :silly: |
re: First Cuts: Holmes, E. Williams, Dearth, Davis
Henson makes this team, no doubt.
same thing that I was thinking |
re: First Cuts: Holmes, E. Williams, Dearth, Davis
I believe that Blades, Riley, Mcintosh, Fletcher, and Henson make it at ILB

I second this motion... |
re: First Cuts: Holmes, E. Williams, Dearth, Davis
Who's going to be our starting and backup center if Rabach is gone? Williams and Lichtensteiger?

re: First Cuts: Holmes, E. Williams, Dearth, Davis
Turk must have woken up late today!!!
Everyone was at practice. But here is my last guess: MK - IR Roydell Williams Anthony Bryant Wade and my surprise cut - HB Blades (Purely cuz I'm ticked he didn't wrap up on the fake punt) |
re: First Cuts: Holmes, E. Williams, Dearth, Davis
Getting a little nervous about my main men Ryan Torain and Edwin Williams. ATV will get the start on Thursday, hope he can show and prove
