This just in...
RedskinsInsider LB Rob Jackson has been released but will be added to the practice squad if he clears waiver, according to a source. 1 minute ago via web * Reply * Retweet Rich_Campbell The #Redskins released fullback Carey Davis, I'm told. He was a late arrival in camp; signed after Mike Sellers' injury. 3 minutes ago via TweetDeck Retweeted by granthpaulsen and 1 other
|
Re: 2010 Redskins Final Cutdown
Add Rob Jackson and Carey Davis. We're up to 8 of 22 now.

Re: 2010 Redskins Final Cutdown
Paulsen has been released, but the Redskins want to bring him back for the practice squad. That's 9. The only FB/TE on the roster now outside of Sellers/Cooley/Davis is Darrell Young.

Re: 2010 Redskins Final Cutdown
Logan Paulsen to PS

Wouldn't be surprised at all,if FB/TE D.Young makes the squad. He's had a very good preseason with what I've seen. isn't he the one who had that really nasty block on that return by banks...? I mean...laid the dude right out? Course,I think the return was called back by Torain for a hold, but it was awesome. |
Any word on Perry Riley?????
i dont see why we wouldnt. he was solid in the preseason and was our second draft pick. |
Nevermind ...

Re: 2010 Redskins Final Cutdown
Here's an interesting tweet...
granthpaulsen With #Redskins keeping just 2 TEs and 3 RBs, expect to see 10 OL'men kept. 6 WRs as well. Bodes well for Brandon Banks. 2 minutes ago via web
No mention of Sellers in this...but he would be our 4th RB (assuming it's portis,Johnson and williams) main FB and Sellers can also play TE and would act as a 3rd TE...in situations |
Re: 2010 Redskins Final Cutdown
Rumor has it that other teams are already interested in Austin, he'll be gone.
|
Re: 2010 Redskins Final Cutdown
Hate to lose Austin like that but between him Banks and Thomas they all couldn't make the team. And all could probably find work elsewhere

Yea,this move is the most surprising one of all imo...sfredskin Unless they plan on bringing in a vet like T.J or trading for one... They should have known that Austin wouldn't last long on the waiver wire... Having said that..Banks wouldn't either imo... Don't mean to get off topic, but has anyone heard anything on that Victor cruz guy from the Giants? They would be crazy to try to put him on their practice squad. lol He would last a N.Y. Minute..lol |
Re: 2010 Redskins Final Cutdown
Cruz isn't PS material. He's about a year away from starting material.
