Re: Jeff Fisher: ESPN asked coaches to take timeouts late on Monday night
I can't see Gruden going to Dallas either, doesn't make sense for him or Jerry. If Norv gets canned in SD I could see him going back to Dallas.
This is my bet, and by the way, didn't we have a similar conversation last year when Gruden came to town? He was the next Skins coach for sure, or something like that. Anyway, as I see it: Cowher will end up in Carolina Gruden in SF Turner in Dallas ?? in Cleveland |
I have always believed that the networks cut away from the game way too often. There is no need for it other than the fact that they want to pay their airtime obligations to sponsors. Frankly they are selling too much airtime and as you can see it has affected the outcome of at least one NFL game.
Personally it pisses me off to watch football because of all of the commercial breaks. I would much rather listen to a commentator ramble on about some football related topic than cut away to a stupid ass Geico commercial. Think of it this way if you were interrupted during sex as much as a football game gets interrupted then you would be pretty pissed off. Now I am not saying that football is like sex but it's pretty freakin close.
I actually have sex durn the comercials.:food-smil I will not even comment on you saying football is close to sex. |

Hmm, I think Jason Garrett still has a chance at being the Cowboys' head coach..

11 men trying to fill gaps and another 11 men trying exploit openings reminds you of sex? Now we know why you are so angry. |

Honestly, I think he'd be the front-runner. He was nearly Zornmoted into the position after being hired as OC. Jerry loves him. |

You're assuming Jerry Jones will make a smart football move. There's no precedent of that happening. |

I guess I just assumed he would be with the Chargers for a few more yrs. Didn't they just extend his contract like a yr ago? Does the Tuna come back to coaching somewhere? Does the GM take over in Cleveland?(Holmgren) I believe Wade Phillips will be done as well as his OC. Really bad play calling there. |
Re: Jeff Fisher: ESPN asked coaches to take timeouts late on Monday night
SD is 2-4, if they don't get turned around Turner is definitely going to be on the hotseat.

Certainly very likely, but if SF is available and he can get his own rookie qb I could see him going there. |
