I don't think Dallas deserved 5 Pro Bowlers.

But in defense of Ratliff, the guy is a very undersized NT in a 3-4. He is a converted 4-3 DE. And was a 7th round draft pick.

3.5 sacks for an undersized NT who is constantly fighting off double teams is pretty good IMO.
Dallas had the worst Defense in the NFC, Ware is the best OLB in the conference so I can agree with him but ratliff had a very avg season. Miles Austin got snubbed IMO he still had a solid season without Romo for most of it.

Austin? I would give the nod to Santana Moss over him.

Really the pro bowl is just a salary escalator at this point for players. Why bother even playing the game? Oh money that is right, my bad.
On a conference call with media members afterwards, Lloyd was asked what message, if any, he wanted to convey to his three former teams, to which Brandon shot back, ”told you so,” While his tone was said to have been somewhat tongue-in-cheek, his words got a little more pointed, as Lloyd then added, ”No, I want to say, ‘(Bleep) you.’ And I mean that in the most professional way.”
Classy Brandon. I guess running multiple routes from the route tree was to much for you to process, balancing your rap career and all, especially if we asked you to go over the middle. So the run straight offense provided you by McDaniels was easy enough for you to understand that you were able to finally become a decent football player.

Seriously this guy runs one route.

Only took Lloyd 8 years to get his head on straight on the football field and he acts like he was screwed over along the way. Why is that not surprising?

I heard Landry got the most votes for safety in the NFC although he's hurt.London Flecher should have made it.I agree, too many cowpies are in.:spank:

How can you justify anyone other than Hall for us in the PB? We had several alternates, but c'mon, our D was a sieve, and our O couldn't find the endzone til DM was benched two weeks ago.

Pretend for a moment that the Pro Bowl is like the MLB All Star game - - every team has to have a representative there.

So, who would you pick to be there in 2010 for the Skins?

Hall has 6 INts and he basically won the Bears game with his defense all by himself. There is no way I think he is the best cornerback in the NFC; in fact, I don't think he is the best cornerback in the NFC East. Nevertheless, he is the best choice from a team that really has no outstanding players on the roster for 2010.

Arguing that the Cowboys do not deserve 5 folks in the Pro Bowl is pretty easy based on the Cowboys' record in 2011. However, this shows why giving the fans voting power - - even partially - - in the selection process can produce a lot of bad choices.

Player A: 64 receptions / 603 yards / 5 tds / 15 games started

Player B: 72 receptions / 796 yards / 3 tds / 14 games started

A is Gonzalez and B is Cooley. IMO Cooley, hall, and Fletcher should have all made the probowl.

I still don't get how Andre Gurode keeps goin to the pro bowl, even when former cowboy troy aikman said on the air that he's a very poor center for the cowboys and when of the weak links on their line..

lol I don't get it either, remember when he had the shotgun snapping issue where he was tossing them over the QB's head all the time? How this guy is a multiple Pro Bowl player is beyond me.

Re: D. Hall is our lone Pro Bowl selection

It's seems fairly simple to me; play makers get in, and the rest don't. Simple as that. Hall, regardless of what we think of his coverage skills, is a ball hawk and play maker. I can only think of a handful of plays, if that, when London turned the game in our favor or gave us momentum.

Fletcher is smart, he's solid in the middle, a high character guy and all of that, but he's an average play maker at best. I'm just saying.

What is a sieve?

Also, Miles Austin has to be the most overrated WR in the league.

What's interesting is that once offensive linemen, particularly centers, get selected once they just keep getting selected to the Pro Bowl, even if they have shitty seasons. I think you'll rarely find a center that has had like one or two Pro Bowl appearances. It's usually like 3-5 over the span of a career.

I mean, Chris Samuels probably got in once or twice when he didn't really deserve it. So I think it's just one of those things akin to unseating the incumbent in politics or dethroning the champ in boxing. Weird.
