Wade is probably headed to the Texans as their DC.

Defense Sucked but don't let Haslett go .. keep the coaches let them implement the system over a longer period than one season ...

Much tougher schedule. The fact that Zorn went 4-12 against the teams we faced in 09 was pathetic.
They share an agent. Morninwheg is another option there, or Holmgren himself. Some believe he'll put himself in there as a one year stop gap before Gruden arrives in 2012.

I've heard if the deals are equal or even just close, Harbaugh is taking the Michigan job, possibly leaving the Niners with Mike Mularkey or Brian Schottenheimer.

I totally forgot about Grimm and the Panthers.

Will be interesting to see if Rick Smith or Brian Xanders are let go and joins tbd Redskins FO
So it's just a favor.. or is he an actual candidate? Heard Holmgren said at the time he wasn't considering being a coach but I bet the itch comes back during the interview process.

I forgot about the Grimm thing, read that. I'll have to look into the FO guys you mentioned. I guess the Goodman's aren't in the plans?
Speaking of coaching moves, does anyone think Shanny is inclined to replace Haslett?
Per his press conference he's keeping the staff intact, so unless anybody gets a job elsewhere they should all be back. We need a new TE coach due to the former guy taking the job at Colorado so there shouldn't be too many changes.

I think haslett has done a pretty damn good job considering all of the injuries and the haynesworth bull shit.. In fact look at the division defensive stats and we aren't that bad points wise

In fact we gave up 17 Points or less in 9 games this season.

Our defense is hard to evaluate. On one hand they're last in the league in terms of yards and 20th in the stat that matters most (PPG). There was also the Philly debacle as well as the Houston comeback (which now doesn't look as bad after they almost did the same thing to Baltimore). The first Giants game wasn't pretty either as were contest against the Rams, Lions, and Colts.

However there were also a lot of games were the defense did their part in holding opponents under 20 points in 9 games this year, including 5 of the last 6 games, with the exception being when they allowed 33 against Dallas. They're on the right track and compared to Dallas's 3-4 switch they actually didn't do bad at all.

Don't laugh to hard . Holmgren in Clevland has always loved him and depending on how far the Ravens go you never know.
I think the problem with Cable is there's a divide between him and Hue Jackson, at least those are the rumors. One of them has to go. It wouldn't be the Raiders without some good ol internal dysfunction.
Funny how when you listen to the media on the Raiders situation, they label Al Davis as "unpredictable" when the more appropriate term should be "buffoonery".

The Bengals are the worst coached team at any level of football. Lewis should have been fired a long time ago.

I dont understand why TN would fired Fisher, he doesnt have a QB an this is a QB league. Considering the trash he's had at the QB position I think he's done pretty good.

Carolina needs a clue. Let me help: Hire Jim Harbaugh and then draft Andrew Luck #1. If nothing else, it should sell tickets.

If they can't get Harbaugh, they should hire Cowher.

Problem is those two moves would cost them a ton of $$ and it's a franchise that just doesn't spend like that.
