Hass is a dick in real life...apparently he's a little bitch too. If you're going to call the man incompetent don't delete what you said. Plus there was nothing wrong with what Cromartie said. STFU Hass before you get your face smashed in.

Does anyone else see Goodell as a power hungry contradictory dictator or am I way off on this? Telling players they can't use twitter yet pretty much demanding they be available to talk to reporters after every game and spring training session? He wants to add two more games to a season schedule but he is really concerned with player safety, how does that work?

Also as for my earlier comment about Dockett I am sorry, not sure why I thought it was him. It is Feely and the alternate is some back up running back I think. So who knows what I was thinking....probably shouldn't drink so much on lunch breaks!

I'm guessing that media interviews are where the players just give off cookie cutter responses and be done with it while the twitter conversations seem more "personal". The "professional image" is preserved with the media interviews while it's "unprofessional" to be talking trash with each other. Not saying I agree, just what I think.

A tad over the top I would say...

And spring training? When did this become about baseball?

I don't get that whole shitty beer is trendy deal.

A local tavern near me that has a lot of great stuff on tap recently tweeted that they now have Genny Cream Ale. I'm like really? Why?

I'm wit ya for the most part, but PBR is really good for the price. It isn't what I would prefer to drink but at $7 to $8 a 12 you can't beat it. Place down the street has it $5 pitcher.

My father in law buys the worst beer: PBR, Natty Light, Busch. I mean it was fine when I was in college and just wanted to get hammered. But he's staying with us right now and it sucks when he comes home with like a 12 pack and is like "hey I got us some beer!" And I'm like you know what "I'll just drink water while I watch the game"
I foresee Goodell putting a ban on players' use of Twitter and social media sites...period.

The NBA has banned the use of it while they're "working", but it really seems to be more of a problem with NFL players (and Will Hill).

It could be justified. Any other person can not just publicly blast their coworkers and company without getting in trouble, the NFL is a business too.

We're fortunate this crap wasn't available when Riggo played, or Michael Westbrook.
Well . . . , maybe. But Cromartie's use of it isn't what would inspire Goodell to ban it. I think he'd just as soon let Cromartie and any other would-be union leadership bashers to spout off.

As others have said, Cromartie's rant is unacceptable as a cyberspace-delivered one. Ironically, he's the one who called out Hasselbeck for not confronting him face-to-face.
