On another note, looks like Portis will be released today or tomorrow. I would have started a thread but I'm new to this. Definitely time to let the guy go but Portis was a freaking work horse for the skins and busted his tail during the franchises darkest years. Guys a Redskin to the bone. If he had Riggins O-line or Owner, he prob would be our leading all time rusher. Good luck CP.

LOL. Yeah if we could ressurect any of our HOF OL into todays roster and be given the team building approach JKCook took- I'm sure Portis would have earned his paycheck and been buried in Lombardi's and the team wouldn't be the pinata for media punishment it is..... matter of fact wake up !!! (clap-clap) it is 2011 and Sndyer is our owner, we don't have hogs we have d'bags actually they arent the same d'bag group- we have Help Wanted signs atop of both sides of the ball. But the same rhetorical talk can be applied to what if the 49ers had Joe Montana, jerry Rice, and ronnie lot but who has time to waste with those questions. |
Re: Where will McNabb land?
Just saw this on Tweeter...
"Grant Paulsen @AdamSchefter was just on @ESPN. Says #Redskins won't be cutting Haynesworth. Will hold on to him if they dont get a decent ofer. #badidea" If this is true, I don't get why Shanahan insists on keeping this circus alive. |
Re: Where will McNabb land?
Shanahan will likely keep Haynesworth just so he can keep him on the bench and make life miserable for him....

Re: Where will McNabb land?
He doesn't want AH to have the luxury to choose where to go. Like say Philly where Washburn now

Glad to see he is putting this much effort into this. If Shanahan loves the media circus, he might as well have kept Campbell. |

Yeah, a motivated Haynesworth against us for a division rival is scary...especially of Rabach is still in the middle of the line. |

Agreed! You don't cut Hanesworth loose and then let him sign with Philadelphia, NY Giants, or the Dallas Cowboys. Keep him on the bench until he cries "uncle" or decides to work with this defense. |
Re: Where will McNabb land?
Actually, I wouldn't mind seeing him and Gurode in the same locker room for Dallas...can't end well.

If this were to happen, I doubt anyone would question why MS wasn't able to motivate Haynesworth; so I don't think this is a concern of the team. I guess this seems to be more about the money. It's funny that MS is so concerned about making sure we the team gets its money's worth in regards to Haynesworth; yet they are willing to waste the 2nd and 4th rounder the team used on McNabb. Once again, I see nothing positive happening to the team by keeping Haynesworth on the roster. |
Re: Where will McNabb land?
It wouldn't have anything to do with Shanahan, although the media will have a field day with their lies and speculations.
We've all seen that Albert plays best when ANGRY. It seems to be his key motivator. |
