Seeing the Raiders since the early 200's has convinced me that both Bruce Allen and Gruden are Gods among men.
Would this be 200 A.D. or B.C.? LOL |
Re: Raiders Select Terrelle Pryor
So the Raiders basically decided Terrelle Pryor was worth their 3rd round pick in 2012...and Jason Campbell was worth their 4th round pick
How is Jason recovering from his concussion? |

Well back then the facilities were to the Raiders advantage. Opposing teams wouldn't bring their star players to arenas for fear of having their stars being eaten by rogue lions that were "accidentally" left out of their cage. |

Also, I'm sure a youthful 40-year old Al Davis made better decisions back in the 200s. LOL. |

He's a mini-McNabb. Looks the part, says all the right things, and has fan sympathy but, not clutch at all. |
Re: Raiders Select Terrelle Pryor
Typical of an organization as screwed-up as the Raiders to pick Pryor. He will be out of the league by 2014.

200 B.C. probably, wasn't that when Al was born? |

TP in OAK, perfect fit.....LOL. |
Re: Raiders Select Terrelle Pryor
I don't think Pryor will do anything with the Raiders. Maybe a better organization someday.
But when you consider that the last player to go in the third round of the supplemental draft was Jeremy Jarmon to us in the third round...well, this isn't much of a reach if one at all. In general, the supplemental draft is not the place to find good bang for your buck. Like I said, I don't think Terrelle Pryor will make it with the Raiders. 50ish percent of third round picks in general washout without becoming starters. Pryor is buried at WR there, and while there's an opening at quarterback after the season when all their players are free agents, it's unlikely that Pryor gets the opportunity. If he has Seneca Wallace's career though, then he's basically the average midround pick. Nothing more, nothing less. |

Re: Raiders Select Terrelle Pryor
Any word on where the Carolina kid will end up? He's the only one reasonably worth a shot out of the 5 anyways.
|
Re: Raiders Select Terrelle Pryor
I read earlier that all the players that weren't picked in the supplemental draft are now free to sign with any team they choose? Would Pryor have been allowed to do that too if he hadn't been picked? Or would his special circumstances have affected that?

Carolina kid? And yes, as far as I know, Pryor would have been a free agent |
Re: Raiders Select Terrelle Pryor
Oh wait, you mean North Carolina (not Carolina Panthers). Yeah, he went to the Ravens. You're talking about McAdoo right?
|
Re: Raiders Select Terrelle Pryor

he seemed worth a looksie. |
