Denver has a bad wr corp, Thomas is good but the rest suck, although tebow is such a bad passer that it wouldn't matter much IMO

No. Only with 10 other all pros can a QB succeed in the NFL. QB's need like 10 minutes to throw and all the defensive lineman are secretly allowed to take steroids and HGH. |
Who were his stud WRs when he was winning those 3 Super Bowls? And Welker's best year before going to NE was 687 yards.
His stud WR then were his defensive players. They had a great defense to help brady win then. Now their O is better but the D is shit. Go ravens! |

The Ravens Offense is no better then the Pats Defense. the pat's D need only had to worry about two offenses in these playoffs: NO and GB. the next scary one for them would be a hot Elli and company. |

Those Super Bowls were all very close wins that could have went the other way, and their one super bowl loss only gave them 17 points in that ball game. Wes Welker is rated one of, if not THE top receiver in the league right now. Rob Gronkowski is a complete beast. And Hernandez always seems to make a clutch catch. Brady's got some weapons to throw to. I'm not saying Brady is nothing without good receivers - everybody knows Brady is a future Hall of Famer, but come on, look at the quality players he's got around him. Stick Tom Brady on a team like the Jaguars or the Rams and see how well he does. |

Football is the ultimate team sport. No one can shine without the help of their teammates.

That's why it pays to draft well.

Re: Drafting at 6? A trade with Cincy makes sense
It's a QB league...the Pats weapons would be unrecognizable on almost any other team. If the 2011 Colts did not prove that to everyone then nothing ever will...
Yeah, only problem is that some of the mocks aren't updated (Matt Barkley going to us at 6) and last year only 3 of the 150+ mocks had us getting Kerrigan, and I think that some of them said that after the draft...
I had Washington taking Kerrigan last year |

And the best ones watch the Super Bowl from home each year. WRs aren't entirely irrelevant, but they're not worth doing anything drastic over vis a vis the Falcons ridiculous play for Julio Jones last year. We should look to add a guy in free agency, but shouldn't over pay for one. Eddie Royal would do just fine. |
