Re: Tough break for the Giants
Handicapped by I thought one starting OL (Brown) who was injured early in the season, an one OL (TW) and one TE (Davis) for drug penalties. Not to mention we had a bad Safety group so our secondary was not up to par. A starting DL (Jarvis Jenkins) who was out all season. etc. etc. They have no excuses. Injuries are a part of the game. The team who can stay the healthiest and the team who has the better backups to step up and keep the team from falling off talent wise will win.
Plus Hightower, Moss, Cooley... If anything, we had MORE key injuries when we embarrassed them, both times. |

Re: Tough break for the Giants
Plus Kyle Shanahan running the offense, that's a season ending injury.

Re: Tough break for the Giants
Look I remember games where the Skins were the best team in the league ....and would lose to the worst.I'ts the NFC East your record does'nt matter when you play, the games usally are knock down dragout wars.I will even go as far as thanking the Skins, had they not beat us the second time like they did.....we might not have finished out like we did.

Quite possibly your best point ever posted on these forums. Even though I think we can win the division this year, I will say that getting beat at the end of the season by a universally recognized bad team led by Rex Grossman prolly did light a fire underneath your asses last year. Im sure Coughlin didnt make the practices the week after that loss particularly easy for them...... |
