Re: Robert Griffin III is the NFL offensive rookie of the month
When I was in college during finals, me and my buddy went to Waffle House at 3am (as you do) and each ordered 3 eggs, 3 strips bacon, 3 links sausage, covered and smothered hash browns, and a side of wheat toast. Waitress comes back, "Can I get yas anything else?" Yes, everything, again. Same meal, again.
That's what I'd do with Robert Griffin. I'd give up 3 first rounders and a second rounder. And then double it. And it'd still be delicious. |

He's a great QB in a different way. We'd still be good with Luck/have the same record, I think. Keep in mind, Luck can run too. People think he just sits in the pocket, he moves if he needs to. |

RGIII presser on ESPN 980 is excellent.
He is the franchise QB we so desperately needed. Incredible person, great physical talent and better than advertised in the draft. |

The main reason why I love RG3 so much more then Luck, as well as Cam is this. Luck does not seem to have that It factor, as amazing of a QB as he is. RG3 does and then some. Cam on the other hand, as great as he is, looks to be one of the biggest choke artist's when the going gets tough. RG3 looks like he has the making to be one of those QB's that when the game is on the line, he is just going to take a 5 foot sword and impale the opposing team in the chest! I believe we drafted Eli in that sense. Just pure clutch! |

I agree. I am especially happy we did not pick Jake Locker, Ponder, Blaine Gabbert or someone like that. I remember some people being really pissed when we passed on those guys and Jimmy Clausen. Clausen is now third string in Carolina. |

Crazy how things work out. Each year many of us (myself included) have been disappointed that we weren't able to get certain QBs. Like what if the Titans hadn't taken Locker at 8, or what if the Bears hadn't stepped in at the last minute to trade for Cutler, or what if Cerrato could have swung the trade for Sanchez. |

I wasnt terribly upset because none of them were sure things. Clausen i remember thinking we might have made a mistake. Wasnt upset that we didnt pick him though at all. Two drafts ago i was upset because 1) rex and beck was a death sentence for the year and 2) who saw the number two pick and rise of rg3. Nobody. I kept my sanity though and didnt complain about not taking a qb because none of them were sure things. So props to shanny and co for not reaching even a little bit. That being said we "lucked out" and got rg3. Minus three superbowls it is arguably the greatest turn of events in redskin history. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Scary to even think that, we would have been stuck in the endless loop of sucking that has been the last 12 years. |
