Loved seeing Franka Potente as Anne. She's a chameleon actress.
Holy crap so that was her?! I wasn't sure til now. Yeah she really is a chameleon. Glad I got caught up on all the episodes I missed. Right now its my number 2 can't miss show (Vampire Diaries is 1 in case your wondering). |

Spoilers ahead!
As soon as I thought the show had lost some of it's violent appeal, it looks like Bloody face is gonna torture poor Lana, both physically and psychologically. I hope she gets out of that though, because I really enjoyed her character. And what's up with the Anne Frank lobotomy? They never work like that. They usually leave the victim like a vegetable. Was she just dreaming that or what? |
Re: American Horror Story: Asylum
What channel is it?

Re: American Horror Story: Asylum
Season 1 is up on Netflix now.
I just started watching it yesterday, I was kinda meh on the first 2 episodes, but after 4 episodes now I'm digging it. |

I disagree. Absolutely loving Asylum- it's more insane than the first season. |
Re: American Horror Story: Asylum
I'm actually a week behind, which is why I haven't commented. I'm DVRing tonight's episode and last week's episode, since FX plays the damn show 4 times in a row.
I should have some input later on in the week. :D |

What a great pic. Ian McShane ftw tonight. |
Asylum deserves Emmys for editing and cinematography. The finest I've seen on television in a long time.

Three scenes/shots really stood out to me: the scene in Thredson's apartment where they kept jumping back and fourth in time; the shoot of Lana walking out of the mausoleum; and the scene in Father Howard's office with Kit that was dominated by giant shadows. All three were amazing! |
Re: American Horror Story: Asylum
however the last 2 episodes have been pretty boring. I'm not so hot on the whole alien storyline... i think it really takes away from where they were going with this.

Kinda agree... I was into the Sister Mary Eunice arc and felt that was just starting to take off. I'm ten minutes into tonight's ep, so we'll see if the alien thing goes anywhere. |
