Laron Landry named to Pro-Bowl. No words.
Lock he was going to play a full season once he left here. How good would our Defense be with Carlos Rogers and LL? Oh we'll, moving on. Time to win the division. |
Hey guys, I think nobody has broken the news yet, but apparently Jeff Saturday made the Pro Bowl even though he was BENCHED by the Packers!
Seriously though I guess my real question is who amongst the coaches/players voted him in despite his benching? I know it wasn't just the fans alone, even though he won that vote.
It had to be the fans. He was leading centers in PB votes. |
Re: Redskins Pro Bowl Selections
How in the **** did Frank Gore make it over Alfred Morris? WTF???
Really? |
How in the **** did Frank Gore make it over Alfred Morris? WTF???
Really?
He plays on a better team and was famous before this season. He had a good season but it still should have been Morris, but the pro bowl is a lot more about how popular you are more than anything else. |
Re: Redskins Pro Bowl Selections
Kansas City has more players in the pro bowl then they do wins.

They should just cancel this farce. It's a joke. |

Go back to the old ballot with complete stats and make them sortable. Omit IR'd, suspended, and benched players. |
How in the **** did Frank Gore make it over Alfred Morris? WTF???
Really?
Thats a name/team selection. 49ers were the team this year where when voters had no idea who to pick they defaulted to the 49er player who was up for selection. Sorry but there were way too many San Fran players on there to take all their selections seriously. Personally I'm starting to think they should take away the fan vote and player vote and shift it over to reporters who watch way to much football as well as former scouts with limited vested interest. |
Its almost become nba like.

Re: Redskins Pro Bowl Selections
Pro bowl is a popularity contest, how do Morris and Montgomery not start? I can see Fletcher going against Willis and Bowman being an alternate.
|
It had to be the fans. He was leading centers in PB votes.
I know he was leading the fan vote but I thought you had to get 2/3 of the votes between players/coaches/fans to get in. |
Good for him.
Meanwhile we're playing for the division.
Apparently he's had a great year there. Lmao and they suck!! Bet he wishes he would be in wsh still |
Re: Redskins Pro Bowl Selections
Trent made it. So that's three Skins. Alfred and London are alternates.
I'm happy for Trent. Alfred Morris shouldn't be an alternate. He should be the starting halfback for the NFC. London should be starting too. |
He was rated by PFF as one of the worst safeties this year. This is why Pro-Bowl doesn't mean jack shit to me. You have guys making it because of their "wow" factor and not for their actual play on the field.
It should be voted on by a panel. Fan voting should completely be removed from the equation. |

AP, Lynch, and Morris. I guess Young didnt make it. Thought he would. Dont know enough about other fullbacks though. |
