Re: Rob Jackson: Facing 4 Game Suspension Banned Substance
Bro, these guys have a list of and know what's what. They have dietitians, trainers, and staff going over this shit. If you can commit an NFL playbook to memory, you damn sure can remember a "handful" of banned substances that shouldn't be ingested or going into your body.
I'm sure the NFL would not levy fines and suspensions unless this information was widely disseminated.
A handful is actually 5 pages http://images.nflplayers.com/mediaResources/files/Banned%20Substance%20List.pdf |
Re: Rob Jackson: Facing 4 Game Suspension Banned Substance
I wonder if it was weed or PED.

Re: Rob Jackson: Facing 4 Game Suspension Banned Substance
It was because of a pain medication. If you ever played football in college or above you may understand and give him the benefit of a break.

Yep, unprescribed pain medication. Per John Keim. |

Lol is all I have to say to this.
All I can hear in my head is echoes of "rob can start; trade orakpo". What do you all think of that now. |
Re: Rob Jackson: Facing 4 Game Suspension Banned Substance
Why would be even need anything unprescribed?
|
Re: Rob Jackson: Facing 4 Game Suspension Banned Substance
How extensive is the use of painkillers in the NFL?

Ask Brett Favre. Pain meds are like any other black market drug. Oxycontin, Percocets, and so on. People will take anything that makes them feel good. Brett Favre was hooked on pain killers for a while in his Green Bay days. |

Re: Rob Jackson: Facing 4 Game Suspension Banned Substance
Okay I give up..
Grant Paulsen: Someone familiar w/ Rob Jackson's situation said he took an unprescribed pain med to help w/ toothache one day before a random drug test. |
Re: Rob Jackson: Facing 4 Game Suspension Banned Substance

He's a backup. It's 4 games. By my math, he'll be back just in time for Orakpos torn pec that puts him out for another season.
