Re: Redskins Training Camp Thread 3.0
Is it a question of guys being able to be coached up by Raheem- a former head coach and expected overly qualified DB coach, or do guys lacking superstar talent like Pugh and Gomes never elevate their game?
Holding our breath for TJax sucks. It's year 2 of fearing being near a potential safety deficiency. Any chance Pugh/Gomes are wiser from aforementioned coaching? |

Lol McNabb hates the skins
I think he hates Shanahan specifically. This is his way of getting back at him, by f'ing with RG3. Pathetic. |
Re: Redskins Training Camp Thread 3.0
I read the article and then started reading the comments. The Eagles fans are ripping McNabb and saying RG3 should stay away from him. The comments are pretty funny actually. When the Eagles fans are saying these things, that pretty much says it all.
McNabb is trying to be controversial to stay relevant. He still looks the fool for saying Shanny wouldnt change his offense for RG3, then proceeded to run his mouth after the offense was designed specifically for RG3. |

Skins terminated Devery Henderson's contract.
I'm on my phone so someone else can feel free to post a link with information. |

What kind of injury is that? |
Re: Redskins Training Camp Thread 3.0
mcnabb's spent more time trying to trash the skins than he did playing for them.
seriously, he needs to build a bridge and get over it. |

Because he can't deal with the fact that he isn't a media darling anymore. At this point, he only gets any press when he leeches off the buzz surrounding anything RGIII's related. Why he is employed by any media outlet is beyond me. At the same time, I have heard he is a self-promoter par exellance. |

McNabb is a tool shed.

Re: Redskins Training Camp Thread 3.0
Does anybody have a feel for the offense this season per what's happening at camp/preseason etc.? Do people think it'll be mostly like last year's with some new twists or will we see something more similar to Mike's textbook Denver days?

I expect less optioning of the QB to limit contact, at least early on. Still think its more Kyle's call at this point than Mike's. Kyle proved alot last year, he will be deciding, but Kyle will mos def be throwing in new wrinkles I think with our TE's group and more passing options out the back field. I think Fred Davis has a career year and gets paid. |
Re: Redskins Training Camp Thread 3.0
RGIII ON Gays. Will someone just tell him t STFU.
Robert Griffin III thinks the time is now for gay players to come out. The Redskins star quarterback told GQ magazine that he feels the "window is now" for gay players. "I think there are [gay players] right now, and if they're looking for a window to just come out, I mean, now is the window," said Griffin, who is recovering from offseason knee surgery. "My view on it is, yes, I am a Christian, but to each his own. You do what you want to do. If some Christians want to look at being gay as a sin, then thinking about other women, committing adultery—or any of those other sins that are in the Bible—those are sins, too. And God looks at all of us the same way." NBA veteran Jason Collins was the first active player from the four major U.S. sports to come out earlier this year. The Detroit Pistons were reportedly interested in signing Collins, who is a free agent. |
