Re: 2014 draft prospects Early edition
Side note: Being 20 years old, it's weird to see guys I played against in high school getting ready to go pro (Anthony Barr, De'Anthony Thomas, etc.)

Re: 2014 draft prospects Early edition
Top 5 2nd round prospects for me in no order:
ILB S. Skov Stanford DE S. Tuitt ND DT A. Johnson LSU CB L. Purifoy UF WR O. Beckham Jr. LSU |
Re: 2014 draft prospects Early edition
I would really want us to make a move for Larry Fitz in the offseason. Him and PG would bring our WR core to a whole new level.

Re: 2014 draft prospects Early edition
Interestingly enough, the Jacksonville Jaguars used the 70th pick in the 2012 draft on Bryan Anger, a punter out of Cal... A couple of picks later the Seahawks selected a QB named Russell Wilson. Just an interesting fact I found today.
A punter in the 3rd Round? I wonder why the Jaguars suck. The owner should have fired the GM before he got the chance to make his 4th Round pick. |
Re: 2014 draft prospects Early edition
Here's an early mock draft:
2nd round: Cedric Ogbuehi, OT, Texas A&M 3rd round: Chris Borland, ILB, Wisconsin 4th round: L'Daimian Washington, WR, Missouri 5th round: Chris Watt, OG, Notre Dame 6th Round: DeMarcus Lawrence, DE, Boise State 7th round: Kevin Norwood, WR, Alabama |
Re: 2014 draft prospects Early edition
Check out L'Daimian Washington in the SEC Championship game today at 4pm.

That is, if he is released. |

Cards won't let him go no chance |
Re: 2014 draft prospects Early edition
So St Louis could add Clowney with Chris Long and Quinn? I hope Fischer sent Shanahan, Allen and Snyder a nice X-mas gift. Look out for the Rams next year if Bradford can stay healthy.

If I'm STL I'm grabbing a WR early like Watkins |
Re: 2014 draft prospects Early edition
Kelvin Benjamin is a beast. If he is there at our second pick do you take him? I starting to think maybe we should. Benjamin on one side and Garcon on the other would be nasty... Just saying

Re: 2014 draft prospects Early edition
yes take him

Re: 2014 draft prospects Early edition
I want FSU #8 Timmy Jernigan. He is a BEAST.

If the skins online could block long enough. Depends who else is available. The value of an offensive linemen is a lot greater than a receivers value in my opinion. |

No, WR can be helped in FA or later in the draft. There's going to be some good OL available in the 2nd and 3rd rounds. Like donofriose said, WR won't do you any good if your line can't block long enough for you to get the pass out. And I'll add this: WR also won't do you any good if your QB is sitting on the bench, injured. |
