Great work and an amazing story.
Never new about cowherds comments, f... him.

While watching the only thing I kept thinking about was how most of those hits would be illegal.

Those comments by Cowherd and Wilbon are still a huge reason why I ignore anything by them today. Just completely poor taste. Missed seeing this last night but I recorded it, definitely looking forward to watching it today.

I loved the Florida High School State Championship footage. Taylor was an absolute beast back then too.

He was such an athletic freak. Sad to be reminded of what he could have been on and off the field.

I literally watched it and just shook my head. I had forgotten that.....Cheetah closing speed. He had an almost Supernatural ability to "know" where the play would be and close across the entire field to...ruin somebodies day.
Sigh....amazing

The ground he could cover was pretty crazy. I was amazed at seeing some of those clips again too.

Idk, I feel like any big hit is being penalized today. They have personal fouls to cover everything, from defenseless receiver, to unnecessary roughness. All it has to do is look rough and it's being penalized.

I agree, they flag anything that looks too hard, and Taylor's demolition hits would definitely draw flags these days. No doubt.

Not ashamed to admit I teared up right along with Santana. Going to finally order my 21 Blackout and get the towel framed. Brought it all back.

Choked up as I watch. What a moving tribute. Like many this is a wound that still stings. #21 is one for the ages. Always. HTTR and continue to rest in heavenly peace.

Yeah that was definitely hard to watch. From a football standpoint, I feel like we'll be lucky if we ever witness a player of his caliber don the B&G again. For those 4 seasons, for the most part we never had to worry about free safety. And for half a season we got to witness a combo between him and Landry that really made our secondary look great. Look at how hard it's been to replace him in the 7 years since his death. I have no doubts if he had played a full career that he would've been mentioned amongst the greats.

Can't even imagine how hard it must've been from a family standpoint though, it really sounds like he was using the rewards of his position to bring his family closer. I really hope DS made sure his family was taken care of afterwards, that's the least he could do.

Mooby i think he may, though we'll never know, could have been THE greatest, not just amongst them. And agree with the latter of your post. Definitely tough.

I saw it! Tremendous documentary.....Sean was the best safety in the league at the time of his death...he will never be forgotten.
