Yup. Goldson and Riley missed multiple tackles. I think this is the last year of Perry Riley. I think we should extend Robinson and replace Riley
I agree, I don't see Riley starting next year.

Our run game on both sides are struggling right now. Need to shore those up during much needed bye week.

3~4, about what I expected after 7 games before season started.
The game was over. He was down with 2 seconds to go. The whole point of the defense at that point was to tackle whoever in bounds and watch the clock go quad zeroes.

But yes our defense has issues. I am starting to really question our LB play. Gap responsibility seems to be lost on a few of the starters. I think it is interesting when a guy like Compton, a lesser athlete, comes in and the D plays better. Makes me wonder if maybe he just plays his responsibility better. Have to watch the all-22 to see but I know Riley has been awful this year.
I wonder what would have happened if that went to replay and replay overturned it?
Say they gave him forward progress to the 38,that would make it a 55 yarder, they would have stopped the clock for replay.Do they let Tampa get their fg unit on the field while they're looking at the replay? Then as soon as the ref puts the ball in play they have time to snap it and attempt the fg.Its my guess thats exactly how it would have played out, which is bullshit. There needs to be a rule against that happening.

I just went back and looked at replay, the f ing clock operator never started the clock at the beginning of the play,if it would have been overturned it would have been a convoluted mess trying to figure it out but I think they would have said 5 seconds left. The clock actually shows 12 seconds when he fumbles,if he doesnt fumble that would have given them time to spike it,anyway glad it didnt go down like that because it would have been a mess

Kirk Cousins either looks like a top 10 Qb or a bottom 10 Qb. That 2nd half and 2 minute drill were beautiful.

He needs to find a way to go between good and average.

Great comeback by him and the team. I've been a critic but he played great 2nd half. I felt like he was yelling at me after the game lol.

The best - Ryan Grant and Crowder both looked nice.

"Normally, if it's outside the two [minute warning], we would shut the play down in that situation," Triplette explained. "But there were no timeouts in that situation.

"We just didn't shut it down in that situation because that would have given an unfair advantage."

Where'd you get that from? Is he saying that even if the replay shown it was not a fumble they would not have overturned it because there wasnt enough time? Because that doesnt sound right

that was a quote from him after he effed up the skins-giants game a few years ago when the side judge, marker and chains all indicated 1 st down but he had it as 3rd but didnt bother correcting anybody.

that clock error could have been huge if the bucs had retained the ball and lovie had the heads up to rush his FG out there and be ready for the snap once the play was whistled live again ... but obviously the bucs would have to sub players (bring St unit on) ... so we would be allowed to sub players as well? .... would the clock start but then run off bc we would be allowed 5 seconds to sub in?

thankfully we dont need to worry about all that.

^^^ really good film breakdown of the game winning TD. I cant cut n paste a film shot for some reason.

gruden/mcvay called the bubble screen to crowder that unsuccessfully was called near the goal line previously.

This time (w reed iso on the opposite side), kirk choose to go Reed instead.

Did anybody hear Gruden's comments about Garcon and some of the vets at halftime?

Having some trouble finding it.

I felt the same way. Especially about the clock at the end if replay had over turned the call. Glad it didn't come down to that.
