Agree about Hatcher. With Mason Foster and Keenan Robinson both UFA's after this season, the Skins may end up keeping Riley.
They have Martrell Spaight who they were really high on in the preseason, plus where we pick in the draft there are two or three really good ILB, there is no way they pay Riley, who is good but is still a liability in pass coverage. |

Yes, cant forget about Spaight. I think a Foster/Spaight combo would work for the future. Riley is done. I did like the way we were able to use the concussion protocol to basically "redshirt" the dude. He wasn't ready to play, basically put him on the bench for the future. |

I think you make valid points but i don't think there is "no way" they pay Riley until they see where they stand at ILB after FA and the draft. Spaight is probably a step too slow to be very good in coverage. Other than that, I like everything about him. He is said to be a student of the game, so he might be able to compensate for his lack of speed by reading the offensive formations and anticipating the plays. Like you, I think they may draft an ILB. I hope so, anyway. I have been a Mason Foster fan since Day 1 of his NFL career. I was surprised that he was available for us to pick up. I'd really like to see the Skins re-sign him. Compton, Foster, Spaight, and a Rookie might not be too bad at ILB. |
Yeah, All Pierre has done is show how valuable he is lately. Going to be tough to move on from either one of them. Josh Gordon I could see being a cheaper option to pursue via free agency with a lower price tag.
Josh Gordan is still under contract with the Browns so it's not like we can sign him as a FA. Same with Justin Blackmon and the Jaguars. |

Id be shocked if he were still Brown after all of this. Just my opinion. |
Josh Gordon???!!! We don't need that kind of disruption. He's a much better fit for for the Cowboys. In fact, I'd like the Cowboys to acquire Josh Gordon and Billy Manziel.
Yeah same could have been said about Desean. Also he got caught smoking weed and drinking. Not whipping people with belts on camera. Anyways we have playoff game on Sunday- too early for this debate. I'm headed to FedEx; first playoff football game I have ever attended. |

I still think CK leaked bs on players he didn't like to smooth the way out. Can't believe any Skins fan would compare Djax to Josh Gordon in a negative way  |

If that remains the case he will be totally manageable as he is a badass on the field. Scare the hell out of the dbacks....... |

It might be, "How do I manage my money or interact with my family?" The knowledge I have is worthless if I don't help the young guys. I went through a lot, and I have a lot to offer these young guys with so much talent. They've got to maximize their talent in any way possible." |

Just hope that Kirk is not a one hit wonder. Like RGIII seemed to be.
Dream on! All Cousins needs to do is say "no" to any Skins contract offer and they'll be forced to franchise him at $19.5MM. I'm pretty sure that Kirk and his agent can do arithmetic.
Isn't time for all of us to realize that Kirk is in the driver's seat in contract negotiations? Simply put, we can't do without him. He is now the most valuable player on the team. Kirk and his agent know that and he's going to get paid.
Last year he had no trade value, next year he will be one of the highest paid players. Crazy what a difference a year can make |

Yes, it is. Hey, I just noticed that you live in Phoenix! You may be able to go to our second playoff game. |

If Hatcher retires does that change his cap number.... as opposed to being released

No, same thing from cap accounting standpoint |
