can talk all day about the cubs,but who did the nats hire as a manager,ex cubs manager,dusty baker,the guy who cant win a big game to save his life.cubs should have kept dexter fowler and hired david ross as a bench coach.has any baseball mlb won a title ever in dc?

As for the closer I think we're stuck until the deadline, and even then if we want somebody we're gonna have to give up something decent. Just the nature of the beast.

I blame ownership, supposedly they had deals on the table for the top tier relievers in FA and ownership didn't want to spend the money. Where's DS when you need him?

Lolol, Nats have 3 guys hitting over .300 in the regular season and they can't buy a hit to save their lives so far this series. They have a game and a half left to figure their shit out or it's gonna be another wasted year.

Yeah as really facing the Cubs for the Nationals. As they want to repeat after last year's Cinderella thing hoping it is no fluke. As this is typed. It is bottom of the 8th inning, tied at 3-3.

Other than 1 inning now, the Nats have looked like a deer in the headlights at the plate. They don't deserve to be here, from my vantage point it looks like the hype and pressure of the playoffs is fucking with them. I mean how many times do you have to watch them stare down strikes before you realize they aren't identifying pitches correctly. If they keep playing like this they deserve elimination.

Cubs pitching hasn't been good this year...Top 4 bats in the line up aren't hitting at all...
