I'd take Gordon all day over a nut job like AB.

I'm shocked he hasn't been banned for life yet though. I truly feel sorry for Gordon's addiction issues, but how many chances does one guy deserve? I pick him up on my fantasy team every year as a sleeper...and every year...nothing. If he were clean, he'd probably be the top WR in the NFL, maybe only Julio Jones and Hopkins could be better.
U guys would sign a guy who will pop for drugs over a guy who has never been in trouble for it? I say sign AB first
I'm afraid Brown is going to murder someone someday. They're both HUGE risks with potentially huge reward.
Josh Gordon just feels like Terrell Pryor 2.0. I think he is the wrong kind of vet to bring in.
Pryor didn't take talent though. But you're right, probably similar results. |

WR FA's:
Antonio Brown, Patriots Taylor Gabriel, Bears Chester Rogers, Colts Paul Richardson, Redskins Josh Gordon, Seahawks Chris Hogan, Panthers Tavon Austin, Cowboys Demaryius Thomas, Jets Ryan Grant, Packers Justin Hardy, Falcons Dwayne Harris, Raiders Jaron Brown, Seahawks Jarius Wright, Panthers Jordan Matthews, 49ers Russell Shepard, Giants Dontrelle Inman, Colts Jermaine Kearse, Lions Johnny Holton, Steelers |

I just don't see paying AB when he is likely to be suspended for a large chunk of the season.

From what I understood, the guy is smoking weed. I don't. But as long as it doesn't interfere with his availability and performance, I don't care. And if it does you cut him, he wouldn't be expensive after all those second chances he got anyway. Difference with AB is Gordon wouldn't be much of a distraction IMO. |
Re: Harmon is the latest to get bit by the injury bug.
Taking a flier on Gordon wouldn’t be a terrible idea simply because he doesn’t seem like a team wrecker like AB.
That speed on the outside would be something Harmon could have never supplied and would be a major issue for d coordinators. I don’t care about the weed stuff at this point unless he smoking schwag. That would be unacceptable in my book. Give Gordon a call and workout. |
Re: Harmon is the latest to get bit by the injury bug.
AB and Haskins work out together all the time, I am willing to bet Dwayne has put in a good word or 2.. It seems like AB is all about business again. I Like Gordon too so really it's a why not to either in my opinion
