Just watched the video. Clearly the main point was to officially announce it isn't wolves/redwolves, and secondly prep the date.

The uniform glances were really useless other than show the are keeping burgundy and gold - which we already knew.

At least there is an end date...

Personally I think anything hogs related is a little corny and forced. I think they want a clean slate with the name, and the colors will be the tie to the past. I'll be pretty surprised if it's not Commanders.

Over?? Hardly. People maybe even the majority will still call them the Redskins and wear Redskins gear. Reportedly custom Redskin gear outsold WFT gear which has to be a bit concerning to the NFL contracted vendors. Maybe this will change with a more permanent name but probably not anytime soon.

Still hard to believe a multi billions dollars franchise couldn't find a way to hurdle the trademark/legal issues. I was being tongue in check but seeing how some people could blasphemously discredit such a fun cute creature and it makes them angry I want it now. We have a family on my farm, they live in the horse field and near the compost. They do wonders for naturally tilling the compost and our squash fields.

Another take on the stars, they could actually be a reference to the 3 Superbowls. Similar to what national soccer teams with world cups.

You maybe right, i went back and watched it closer, the STARS are inside the jersey around the back collar, you can see the Nike tag a bit and all the stitching is for badges outside of the jersey.
