The Commanders announced they sold out their Week 3 game against the Buffalo Bills at FedEx Field. Second-consecutive sellout for a team that was at the bottom of home attendance last year.

This should be a really fun game.
Buffalo holds an all time head to head win is 10-5 record against Washington (not counting their SB loss) It’s going to be a playoff type atmosphere, we are kicking their fucking ass!!

It's possible for them to win this game. Need to see more of the same from Sam & the offense; and the defense has to begin the game with the same intensity they played with after the LT touchdown vs. Denver. I know that intensity is difficult to sustain for 60 minutes, but at least set the tone early on and not dig a hole like last week.

A lot of people getting carried away by 2 narrow wins against bad teams who will probably both be 0-3 after their next games.

We could win yes, but it's very unlikely.

Yes, it's unlikely. I agree. It was also pretty unlikely that they would come back from down 21-3 on the road against S Payton and R Wilson...

I don't think we'll kick their ass by any means, but if they put together a complete game, it's possible to come away with a win in a close game.

If we do win, a lot of people will be using the 'S' word. ;)

We need to run the ball well. It will keep the time of possession in our favor, keep our defense fresh, minimize Buffalo's chances, and set up the passing. This offense can do very, very big things with a consistent run game. Pound Robinson/Gibson. Would be a great game for Rodriguez to have his coming out party also.

After years of Snyder's lies it is hard for me to accept anything coming out of the Commanders organization as factual. I know different ownership but doesn't make it any easier to believe. Really hoping to turn on tv on Sunday and see no empty seats.

It will be a let down if we see 40% Bills fans there. That will really suck. Bills fans travel. I really feel like we have turned the corner- hopefully.

If we can get some turnovers off of Allen this game is winnable. Bills are beatable but this is a good test.

This will be a good early barometer for home fan support with new ownership. Obviously, it's improved but this will be more telling.

Does the team have the ability to only sell tickets to people that live within certain zip codes? I'm talking about straight from the team to the purchaser.

A long time ago i think it WAS like this - but there are just way too many 3rd party mark up vendors these days to accomplish that as a franchise - i think

Ted Leonsis did this in early 2000s wrote a software program to eliminate zip codes around Pittsburgh for ticket sales. In 2018 during the Cup run tickets sold pre sale i.e to season ticket holders were not allowed to be resold. I think that would be feasible only with season ticket holders that enter into a contract with the franchise. The ticket resale business has become too big of a business for NFL to lose as a sponsor now IMO.

In the Bundesliga visiting teams are given a set amount of tickets to sell through their market and they are all in one area not dispersed through the stadium. I don't know how they prevent fans from being scattered through out the stadium via resales maybe our European fans here can explain this. I think it is similar in Premier league
