I feel the same way about the entire NFL after this week.

Pretty much. It is insanely up and down for so many teams and even the “world beaters” like the Chiefs and Iggles scraping by most weeks.

Castro-Fields was awesome in ST today, forgot to mention him. Quan Martin too.

The greatness of Casey FN Toohill was on full display today.

Toohill shining, Allen and Payne both had some real solid plays today too.
This D can be real good at times, it would be nice if they could play 60 minutes and not disappear for several drives a game, would also help if they didn't have an Achilles heel in the middle of the field.

Nice INT too seal the game by Jamin Davis though.

I think we know who we are. We gonna lose to good teams, beat bad teams, and every now and then we'll have typical Ron coached team flukish wins and losses.
You aren’t wrong but I think that BRob needs more than 10 carries a game. Dude will eventually bust one.
Oh I agree with that, but deep down, I think we all know none of our RBs are your standard HR threat.
Every single run BRob gets is out of shotgun. I don't like it. Give him some carries like Rodriguez had and he'll be fine. When he runs w/ his shoulders square he is a load just like on the TD he scored.
That is absurd the single most important factor in a running plays success is velocity of back at point of first contact. You want a slow running back hand it off out of shotgun. You want a fast running back let him build speed up to the QB. Dear lord it is simple.

I think B Rob could be. I absolutely do. Just like any other back he needs 20-25 carries. You cannot give a guy 10 carries a game and expect a home run. I think that with a better line, and EB incorporating him more he could absolutely be that guy.

No doubt our line needs to be better but No quarterback has a line that will allow him to stand in the pocket for that long. He absolutely, unequivocally, needs to throw the ball away when necessary. Overall I am happy with Sam, but he has a serious problem with his internal clock.

Which has been a career long issue for him pre-NFL

I am not sure it can be "coached" out of him

Was interested to see that, aside from the Buffalo game which was obviously awful, Howell has a 9:2 TD:INT ratio in the five other games. Most QBs when they are getting sacked /pressured as much as he is will, like Ridder did, throw it up for grabs. I often hear people say the QB should just take the sack and move on, and while it would be good for him to be getting rid of the ball, the sacks aren't shaking his composure as they would most young QBs

Starting to seem like we've got something with Sam. How high his ceiling goes is the next question. He's certainly an upgrade over Heinicke, we know that.

I think Sam can go as high as he can speed up his internal clock. If he gets that fixed, the sky is the limit. I know the o-line is not great, but Howell was responsible for most of the sacks last night. IF he can just fix that!!

Sure it can. Arm strength cannot be coached. Getting rid of the ball certainly can. Literally run drills in practice where the damn idea is to throw the ball away? [emoji2371]
He has to come to the realization that a loss of down is better than a loss of down + a loss of yardage. It is just a stubbornness thing.
