I find it totally believable that nobody was prepared to offer a 2nd and change. I'd rather he had gone to the Falcons but looks like they dithered and the 49ers were definite. Bird in the hand...

The whole league had the chance to get Chase Young … the best offer we got was a 3rd rounder … Think about this for a second ..all of us bash this team for not making good decisions.. well the REST of the league more or less passed on Chase as being not worth more than a third .. so I’m glad we didn’t pick up extension and sign him to some ridiculous contract ( the rest of the league decided with us his worth ) and it was a 3rd rounder ..

Exactly. If there was a better offer, they would have taken it...and there wasn't. They entered the day knowing they were going to trade Chase Young for whatever they could get for him. The market for him was a 3rd round pick. End of story.

Got a bad feeling about this game as we near kickoff. Hope I'm wrong. Don't like the matchup and think Carroll has his boys ready. Hope I'm wrong. Will be bigtime if Howell goes there and wins.
