IMO, I suspect this is a tank move. They don't want Brissett to possibly win a game for us over the next two weeks.

It's also an indictment on Howell as they don't think he can win any more games this season. This is where Howell can prove any doubters wrong. Howell may not make it out without an injury over these next two weeks.

Just one more week after today.

How the hell do you expect to win without 3 of your OL, starting CB’s. S, MLB, etc. this is no tank job.

Brissett has far more command of the offense and what to do than Howell. That's been pretty evident the past two weeks. If Brissett had started the past two weeks then Washington probably are in a two game winning streak.

If you don't think the powers that be possibly didn't have their hands in not playing Brissett then I don't know what else to tell you.

He came in relief twice, let’s see what he would do a full game, my guess is no better with that OL.

I think he'd fare well, even if it were for a half. The point is he's shown he has a command of the offense and can move the ball, and I don't think the powers that be wanted to possibly risk a chance to win a game or two to finish out the season.
