Re: 2024 Offensive Line
And two 4th and 2 gambles, with the second the most ballsy. Coaching staff showing trust in the offense and it is paying off.
There have been several 4th down plays this year where I felt Commanders would punt. Wrong. They go for it, usually without hesitation. Besides being competent, this new staff has stones.

Re: 2024 Offensive Line
I'm curious to see Wylie's PFF grades for the season (i.e. season average through the 5 games).
Are his numbers actually better than last year? It would sure seem so. I haven't really noticed him this season, and honestly, that's what I want from a RT. I would assume he is playing better. But maybe Jayden is just that much better than what we had last year he is covering a lot of it up (him and even the OLine as a whole). |

EB never adjusted, never wanted to run the ball, and defenses could just tee off on the QB who refused to throw the ball - play after play. I'm not sure the line (Wylie included) was as bad as a lot of people concluded last year. Sure, they weren't great and individuals got beat sometimes, but they had absolutely no help from their OC or QB. |
Re: 2024 Offensive Line
^ EB hung the OL out to dry for sure. They were middle of the pack in terms of PFF grades. Scheme, QB, and play calling matter.
