more important stuff,who sponsered the poll?
An anonymous donor sponsored it. He asked that his name not be released. I won't give away his name but it rhymes with Tammy Law Van

Not to get too legal, but the witness' criminal convictions will likely be admissible.

A witness' criminal convictions actually get admitted most of the time. In federal court, which admittedly has slightly different rules of evidence than Florida, a witness' criminal convictions are relevant for the purpose of showing character for truthfulness. Only when the prejudice of introducing such evidence substantially outweighs its probative value (of showing character for truthfulness) will the evidence of the conviction be denied admission. While courts don't want "bad person prejudice" to infect a trial, in federal court, there is a presumption that criminal convictions carry significant probative impeachment value.
So if the defense can prove that the prosecution was somehow informed of the witnesses' recent arrests, then the case can and should be thrown out. Wow, that would also put the brakes on that prosecutor's political aspirations.
To be fair we do not know that the prosecutor has any political aspirations or new that the witnesses had been arrested. With the way our goverment agencies work today ( or don't work for that matter) it would not surprise me he did not know they had other charges against them. They must have something for this case to go to trial but I realy don't know what the standards are.

It looks like they filed another continuance according to the Docket. Trial will be heard now on May 8th. This is according to the Miami dade court docket

Most complete summary I have seen regarding "What really happened?" on the ATV night;

Re: Taylor & Courts

It was mentioned on Full Court Press Sat night that the guys that tried to jack ST's ATV have tried to do the same thing a few times since and it has not really been reported. I doubt ST will do any time but having this issue hanging out there is a distraction for ST and the team.

Knowing how the legal system in Miami works, I expect this case to be thrown out. Even if it does go through he will never be found guilty on any of the charges.

This was posted last Thursday, but I haven't seen any reaction to it on here:

Any bets on the case actually coming to court?
