Joe Gibbs can go 3-13 this year and 0-16 next year, but you will never hear me call me for his resignation. If that unfortunate scenario was to happen, it would not be his fault, it would be Daniel Snyder.

You people who think that Joe Gibbs is a senile old man are crazy. It was just last year we went to the Divisional Round of the playoffs. Come on, lets be real. You cannot be a true fan if you are calling for Gibbs' resignation.
it's too bad you can't fire the owner :(.

calling gibbs senile is a bit crazy, but even though i wouldn't personally ask for his resignation, i don't think those that would aren't true fans. calling out fandom is a bit lame (true fans would give me $100. so are you a true fan or not?).

I don't think that Gibbs is senile or crazy by any means. However, let's face the facts people, if his name were Steve Spurrier we'd be calling for his head. However, Joe Gibbs is a legend and as such he deserves to be treated accordingly. He deserves more chances than a guy like Spurrier. I'm sure that Gibbs is busting his ass right now trying to right the ship. That said, right now, it's not working. The team looks uninspired, that's the coach's fault. The team is making mental mistakes, that's on the coaches. However, that doesn't mean I think he should be fired or should resign. However, the guy deserves to finish his contract, but if all they have to show for 5 years is 1 playoff appearance, he shouldn't get a new one.
I'll be called a "yes man" for sure, but I really believe there are some people who have the right-however frustrating it may be for people-to decide when they want to leave. Dean Smith, Bobby Cox, Greg Popovich, Bobby Bowden, Joe Gibbs, to name a few.
I agree. Has Joe Gibbs not earned the right to leave at his own desire? Remember, we feel like he's made some mistakes this season right now, but in 365 days, he could be once again looking like the genius that he is. I prefer to reserve judgement on how well he's done this year until after its apparent whether or not his decisions have been right or wrong ones.
