the #26, two thirds, and a fourth this year for Balt from Jacksonville
|
Re: The official 2008 draft discussion thread
Jags traded their 1st, two 3rds, and a 4th
Seems like a big time reach. |
Re: The official 2008 draft discussion thread
Thank goodness. Now we can't get him
|
Re: The official 2008 draft discussion thread
Damnit! There goes Jerod Mayo. I really would've liked for us to take him if he fell to us.
|
Re: The official 2008 draft discussion thread
I'm talking about the Pats taking Mayo
|
Re: The official 2008 draft discussion thread
Mayo looks like he could be my uncle !
|
Re: The official 2008 draft discussion thread
Eisen just dropped the "McLovin" on us. LOL
|
Re: The official 2008 draft discussion thread
Guess the trend that Def is a safer pick.
|
Re: The official 2008 draft discussion thread
Devin Thomas drops now, possibly to the Eagles
|
Re: The official 2008 draft discussion thread
great move for the bills...theres going to be the same group of receivers to pick from (for the most part, similar grades I mean) when they pick second. might as well get that top corner to fill a whole
|
Re: The official 2008 draft discussion thread
Devin Thomas drops now, possibly to the Eagles
If Thomas falls to Philly I think it's definitely safe to say that they will take him. |
Re: The official 2008 draft discussion thread
Broncos should take Clady or Albert
|
Re: The official 2008 draft discussion thread
Devin Thomas drops now, possibly to the Eagles
yea I dont think much as changed for us...I bet Merling goes soon though and the receivers stick around for a while. |
Re: The official 2008 draft discussion thread
Ryan Clady i think is a good pick for the broncos, im not sure about his run blocking though
|
Re: The official 2008 draft discussion thread
Car. got to go RB.
|
Re: The official 2008 draft discussion thread
i hope we can trade back and pick up more picks this year
|
Re: The official 2008 draft discussion thread
I didnt listen to anything Keyshawn just said, i just laughed at his outfit. Its ok though, im sure i didnt miss him say anything important.
|
Re: The official 2008 draft discussion thread
Ryan Clady i think is a good pick for the broncos, im not sure about his run blocking though
he has the physical tools, can move...and needless to say they can coach olinemen to run their scheme in Denver. |
Re: The official 2008 draft discussion thread
Please, PLEASE Brandon Albert keep falling...
|
Re: The official 2008 draft discussion thread
he has the physical tools, can move...and needless to say they can coach olinemen to run their scheme in Denver.
Ok, agreed, that and I would figure any lineman going to Denver would need to learn a new scheme as well no matter how good they are. |
Re: The official 2008 draft discussion thread
Panthers take Stewart
|
Re: The official 2008 draft discussion thread
wow carolina picked stewart
|
Re: The official 2008 draft discussion thread
Please, PLEASE Brandon Albert keep falling...
I'd guess the Bears will take Albert now, if not Otah |
Re: The official 2008 draft discussion thread
I didnt see running back as that big of a need for them. besides any rb they have is guaranteed to get injured so might as well make a later pick for one!
|
Re: The official 2008 draft discussion thread
I'd guess the Bears will take Albert now, if not Otah
Let the run on OL start. |
Re: The official 2008 draft discussion thread
SmootSmack, why you keep bringing me down, man?
Who do you really want? |
Re: The official 2008 draft discussion thread
I'd guess the Bears will take Albert now, if not Otah
yea I was just going to say the same... really I think either is fine for us. I dont see Albert making it to us no matter what...so a big run on olinemen only helps us in my eyes. if Albert isnt at 21 no way we pick one. Im starting to think we will trade down...there hasnt been a big run on dlinemen or receivers, plus that second group of QBs is still to come. I think we can move down, perhaps someone looking to jump the ravens...and we get teh same guy. |
Re: The official 2008 draft discussion thread
its now time to trade up and get albert now.........
|
Re: The official 2008 draft discussion thread
its now time to trade up and get albert now.........
Hang tight. If he falls great, we don't need to move up. |
Re: The official 2008 draft discussion thread
I laugh every time ESPN has Brandon Lloyd listed as a key loss for us.
|
Re: The official 2008 draft discussion thread
SmootSmack, why you keep bringing me down, man?
Who do you really want?
I have no idea really. There are so many good options. I'd be happy with Merling, Jackson, Balmer, Sweed, Jenkins, DRC, Cason, Albert in the first. That narrow it down :) Wow! Risky pick by the Bears if the neck rumors are true |
Re: The official 2008 draft discussion thread
Will Albert get past Detroit? They're not smart enough to take him are they?
|
Re: The official 2008 draft discussion thread
I would have thought Albert would have gone before Williams for sure.
|
Re: The official 2008 draft discussion thread
I guess Albert was more hype than anything in GMs eyes....he went from a second round pick to top five in like 3 minutes one day it seemed....now hes slowly falling back down.
|
Re: The official 2008 draft discussion thread
Hang tight. If he falls great, we don't need to move up.
I think Houston at 18 is our biggest obstacle now |
Re: The official 2008 draft discussion thread
albert or cromartie please drop to us..........
|
Re: The official 2008 draft discussion thread
its now time to trade up and get albert now.........
Absolutely no need to trade up in this draft, there are plenty of good options for us, imo of course. |
Re: The official 2008 draft discussion thread
unless the Eagles make a trade
|
Re: The official 2008 draft discussion thread
wow imagine if the chiefs got their man they wanted at 5...all the way at 17.... plus dorsey...that will grade out well....
|
Re: The official 2008 draft discussion thread
I think Houston at 18 is our biggest obstacle now
If Albert is there and someone wants to come up for him, we might get a nice deal to move down. |
