Or Rodgers for a second maybe?
Rogers needs to shut up and play well next season since it's his contract year. I think Springs will be another Marcus Washington situation. |
Re: 2009 Free Agent Signings
Man don't know why I applied for this text thing from Redskin Insider. Jerks haven't sent me a text all night, save a confirmation text. Then a text confirming my confirmation.
So a big deal for Hall means no Haynesworth? I kinda hope so. Bring on Canty, we get a good player and the satisfaction of taking a good player away from the Cowpukes.
Could be a Benedict Arnold setup. Did u ever think of that Ruh, bet you didn't... |

yeah it would be nice for Rodgers to live up to where we drafted the guy |

I don't mind either. I've wanted Canty for a while now, especially after he dominated us on that Monday Night Game. Plus lets not forget he went to Virginia so there's a chance that he grew up a Skins fan. |
Re: 2009 Free Agent Signings
Well, do ya'll suppose that's the show?
Kind of surprised Dock wasn't signed in the first few minutes... tomorrow I bet. |
Re: 2009 Free Agent Signings
Denver has picked up Buckhalter and JJ Arrington. So now Westbrook is going to kill himself by being the only running option (I wonder if the Iggles are going after Ward?).

Also a chance he grew up a Cowpukes fan i Virginia. Just like a lot of low rent, no account jackasses around here. |
Re: 2009 Free Agent Signings
ESPN said more than half the league has contacted Haynesworth. It could be all night before we see a deal with him. Unless Danny does something crazy.

We should attach an explosive device on his jockstrap and tell him that he needs to be loyal to us now, or else. LOL. |

He won't. It's going to be all about Canty, Willis, and Dockery now. Maybe an OLB but obviously no one hasn't heard anything. Still I love how much attention the front lines are getting. I think I'm gonna cry then send Vinny a card that says "I'm sorry." |
Re: 2009 Free Agent Signings
Canty just played football at Virginia. He was born in New York and played his highschool ball in North Carolina

Why does Canty want to leave Dallas anyway...

Sounds like he's cultured. That or he's an NFC East whore. Only place he hasn't been is Philly. |

Money for starters. Plus maybe he still likes the area. I still want him though, guys never missed a game. |

They could have signed Hall so they could cut Springs and his $6 million and free up some space for a Haynesworth transaction. I'd really like if the Haynesworth rumors were all smoke and mirrors while we went after the key free agents that can help build our lines. I'd have to tip my hat to management if that were the case. |

Do you mean just Redskins or the whole league...if so here are the signings: - Hall re-sign - JJ Arrington/Buckhalter picked up by Denver - Fred Taylor probably going to the Pats |

Easy Dirtbag, we're not there yet. |
Re: 2009 Free Agent Signings
Heres what JLC just posted
"Also, they remain interest in Albert Haynesworth, though finding the cap space for that will be very tricky." So maybe Skinny Tee is onto something. |
Re: 2009 Free Agent Signings

Well lets put it this way at 100M he certainly is'nt gonna step it up. I doubt he will be the same AH. IMO |
Re: 2009 Free Agent Signings
monster signings for guys switching teams tend to be flames out (champ, arch, lloyd, kearse, berry, etc etc etc).
we'll see though. |
Re: 2009 Free Agent Signings
TJ Housh just mentioned on ESPN (TV folks, no link) that some of the teams he would like to go to are Philly, Giants, and the Vikes.
|
Re: 2009 Free Agent Signings
So with all these teams willing to over pay, it seems like most teams are expecting for an up capped year in 2010.

Hey bro, w/ Rogers and Hall we don't have to worry about TJ in Philly or NY, especially if NY doesn't resign Ward and Philly doesn't get a great RB to complement Westbrook. I see the NFC East much more evenly matched than last couple of years. |
